Dear Luong,

I am experiencing the very same difficulties while trying to install PlayOnline to my PS2. May you please elaborate how you were able to "trick it into fixing itself?" I am unable to send an e-mail to the PlayOnine tech support without a PlayOnline e-mail address, and I'm afraid that until I retrieve a list of primary AOL access number that is not likely to happen any time soon.

Also, if there are any visiting members to this thread, I am open to ideas, tips, suggestions, and possibly remedies so that I may finally complete the installation process. Your time is very much appreciated.

--Update--

Sorry to cause such an inconvience, but I'd like to post this to anybody experiencing a similair problem.

I was able to retreive a list of AOL numbers the installation process. Five years ago, my area changed the area code. I was unable to receive any numbers with my current area code, but when I tried my old area code and I had no problems. A simple solution, and I'm kicking myself now for not thinking about it sooner.
