Edited - last problem solved.

I'm now crashing while zoning, and have very difficult time reading font. No matter which is chosen.

That's what it says in dxdiag, unless that big long printout would better work?
It was crashing right after hitting Play on server select, then I went and got the newest driver I could find that supported dx9. I was able to log into the game, into Nexus. But as soon as I tried going to PoK, that's when Eqclient crashed.

**Edit- On a semi-side note, if I was to copy all that long notes from dxdiag, would it be possible to get reccomended a "good," pretty cheap video card that I might look for?

Yeah. It's the card. I'm really suprised it even let you log in with that one.

Probably the best "cheap" card you are going to find is either a geforce 4 MX 440 or maybe a Geforce FX 5200 (the ultra model if you can afford) The 440 will run you around $60 new, less used, and in this case considering the probable age of the rest of your computer, used might be a good idea as a stopgap measure until you upgrade.
