I'm at my wit's end. I click on my PlayOnline icon, and nothing comes up. I hear the music in the background and the window title appears in my system tray, but all I see is a blank desktop. What's wrong?

I'm having a very similiar problem right now. I load POL and I start to log in and it just sits there, doing nothing. Music plays but the main menu never shows and eventually windows bombs it out.

I got that once, I just ran System Restore and backed it up a couple of days and it ran fine after that, turned out something was wrong in the registry regarding POL. Just back it up like a day or two bwfore it started and it should be fine.

Easy fix for this is to go to

Start/Programs/Playonline/Playonline Viewer/ POL viewer config

set it to run fullscreen, restart POL and it'll come up, then after you close it out correctly (exit viewer) you can go back to the config and turn fullscreen off...

hope it helps!
