I'm haveing an interesting sound promblem on one of my boxes. After being in the game for about an hour all the sound except the music goes away. No battle sounds, no money sounds at bank, no opening and closing back pack sound - just the music. This is on the box that I just built Kao, it just started doing this Friday. If I go out to the desktop and come back in, it will work fine for 30 minutes to an hour and then the sound goes weird again. The sound card is the latest version of Audigy II.
The sound is fine out of game - plays music, etc OK - just doesn't give me all the in-game sounds.

I really would like some input on this from some of the tech guys out there. Could this be heat related? I have a Thermaltake case with a total of 8 fans in this case - but it does run a little on the warm side - processor temp averages around 107.
Tahnks for any thoughts anyone might have.

Actually - I checked temp last night and the processor is running at 112 in the game
