Since I don't have the time anymore for group play I decided to just work on DRG playing solo and have been working on various Magian lances. However, it looks like there are a bunch of different options that I can consider and would like some opinions.
- Store TP Lance Magian Line
- Strength/Attack Magian Line
- AH Line (ending probably with Ereptor)
- Others???
Playing solo I don't think I'm concerned with an X-hit build, so Ereptor might be a good choice. I started an oathkeeper and Stingray already, but am now leaning towards Ereptor. What do you guys think is the best for playing solo? For purposes of this thread I'd like to limit suggestions to lances that can be obtained solo.

Lances for DRG soloFollow
You could probably do Chauve-Souris(Occasionnaly attack twice) polearm mostly solo, would only need help with VNM T3 (duo makes it easier, BST+ any TH3 job combo) and can buy the rest of the abyssea NMs/Silver mirrors/Riftsands :)

I did find an LS and will be trying to get a Rhongomiant, but will use Drachenstich/Ereptor until then. I was able to eek a few more hours out of my schedule to play more. The Mekira set looks good and I've been thinking about dumping some money into that.
My current goal is to get Stardiver. But what should be the next upgrade? Is it worth it to just power to 99 and get a set of Dux to replace my Perle? Should I work on getting Lancer +1? My focus is more to solo, so I'd appreciate input from anyone who has experience here.

Lancer +2 set should be your priority. I'm not even sure Rhongomiant is even better than OAT. Also, if you're in the Abyssea stage, look for an Atheling Mantle and a Goading Belt. Stuff like Thew Bomblet, Hagneia Stone, Mekira-oto, and elemental belt/gorget to support Stardiver.
Also if you're worried about solo, then a good healing breath set is vital. The good thing is that almost all of it is cheap or free. All 3 Lancer accessories (neck, back, and earring) are fairly straightforward to get (you may need help). AF+1 legs, Wyvern Mail, and the relic +2 pieces.

I would recommend focusing on your Empyrean armor and making your Dragoon's TP and WS sets decent at the very least before worrying about your endgame weapon. Perle is going to do more for you than Dux as far as TPing goes because there's no Haste whatsoever on Dux gear, which is essential for a good TP set. Looking at your TP set, one of the biggest things I noticed you were missing was a Haste belt. Gear haste caps at 26% (it's actually calculated as 25.6% given how Haste is calculated, but in order to reach that you'll need to have enough Haste on your gear to add up to 26%), so that's one of the things you'll want to strive for.
I wouldn't worry about a Rhongomiant too much unless you're planning on taking it to 99, since at 90 (which is where most people leave their Empyreans given the gil investment needed to get it to 99), it's outclassed by most of the better high level AH polearms, much less the OaT Chauve-Souris, which is one of the best Magian polearms you can make.

Even paying 10k per upgrade item(Silver mirrors/Riftsands), OaT only gonna cost you like 3 mil and it's excellent for group/solo too :) Use those buds on Vere for mnk/pup, much better investment :)

Damage mitigation is an important thing for all jobs to look into, and Dragoon is no exception.

The NQ would pull ahead of the Magian WS dmg +10% one by a fair bit.
