I have all the ele belts/gorgets applicable to my WSs, however I've heard that they often aren't the best items to use depending on WS. What should I be using for a WS such as drakesbane, and is it even a notable difference?

All that said, has anyone come up with an optimal TP set to best utilize the set bonus? I've heard conflicting theories on proc rate, and don't even know if it's worth going for (yet). Some items like legs look like they'd be an amazing piece to TP in though at a slight loss of haste. I believe the highest haste you can get atm with 4/5 AF is 24%, which isn't necessarily bad. Obviously it's probably a pretty hard call to make considering cruor buffs, atma combos, and the occasional non-abyssea event.
As far as weapons go... I hear amazing things about occ atk x2 polearm, but I'm still working my way to a Rhongo, as I have high hopes for it once we get out of abyssea and SE adds mobs that aren't made out of paper. Plus it just looks awesome

@#%^ Timarli, get Ace's. With +2 body the STP is not an issue and then it's just 7str vs 4str.
Twilight Helm for WS. Does the DRG set bonus kick in for WS? If so I'd probably use +2 feet too. If not then Hecatomb+1 feet. Sky gods are stupid easy to kill now and the -1 abj is like 500k.
To be honest I'd stick with Warwolf over Ele Belt and probably Lancer's Torque (or any other 5Str neck) over gorget.

I dont see any way to really make a good TP set involving 5/5 +2. You loose to much....well...everything. Haste/atk/DA etc. It forces you to use lancers back over something like atheling (eeew -20 atk and 3% da) among other rather heafty sacrifices. That is a LOT of stuff to give up.
I do jump in 5/5 AF+2. Legs are no brainer. Feet are no brainer for spirit, and that much acc/atk is always welcome on spirit. Hands...no brainer. Body....no brainer. Head is the only slot that is a 'sacrifice' to make for jump macros, and it is a VERY small one. 27 atk and 6-7 acc is still really great for jumps on head slot and gives the largest boost to proc rate by completing the set. Im willing to do that.
Im a little biased against aces hands, but thats because im work with a rather specific 5hit build with my 507 delay OAT lance so STP matters quite a bit for me, but I spose if you are /sam going for just a 6hit, you will easily overshoot it. Either way TP-ing in +3 str isnt a big deal at all and not worth loosing sleep over. If you have a 4% haste hand and a 6hit, your gonna be fine.
I cant comment on the rhongimont, but I will second the badassry of the corsesca+2 OAT. It is really monsterous. Im enjoying it even MORE now that i can swing a 5hit build with it in AND outside abyssea. It destroys worlds.

Ahhh completely forgot about twilight tbh. Brewed way to many, even with blue !!, and I've yet to see helm/mail. I did get everything else though, so now it's just a matter of time before the apkallu egg he loves to drop is accompanied by something good 
Afaik, AF set can't proc on WS which kinda sucks. I would have loved to be able to WS in the feet but I guess I gotta keep heca around for it. As for +1, I'll wait to see how the new gear augments turn out. Sky is pretty much stupid easy these days and you can duo pretty much everything so picking up another abj wouldn't be hard.
As for 5/5, I knew there was no way to make that work well. But I was thinking something along the lines of:

So it would be 3% haste, 3 DEX, 3 atk + w/e ring I'd use in place of blitz VS 9 STR, 9 VIT, 18 atk, +10% crit damage. Is there no point where the AF3 would win out, such as lower haste situations/solo? Or is the extra 3 haste just that good? I'd love to have marches and haste everywhere I go but sadly most mages these days don't even know wtf a -na spell is let alone buffs. I've been called squishy by mages that won't even toss a protect on their DD before, so... yeah.
Sorry if it seems like I'm asking the same question over and over, but our AF3 is awesome and I just wanna find a situation to use as much of it as possible
And who knows, maybe this new augment system wont suck and homam+1/2 will have some nice haste upgrades on them....

Kemas earring isn't really needed on drg for tp, its very hard not to have capped acc between 3/5 AF3 +1/2 and agasaya's, so I would say a good alternative would be Aesir Ear Pendant (Odin prime fight) or something like that. WS set looks really nice, possibly a good alternative to 7 STR rings if you know people that do VNMs, Strigoi Ring drops off of Lord Ruthven, +6 STR +3 atk
Edit: Meant to ask on WS set, why AF3? The atk? Possibly hecatomb there or some other STR alternative...

Is there a feasible way to 5 hit a 492 lance, or should I just stick to 6hit? I have most of the sTP gear I'd need I think, and the rest I can get fairly easily. Anyone have any decent setups?

Plaguebringer has +20 stp and +10% double attack and +10 hp/tic regen
Gear is pretty tough to do on a 492 lance, you essentially sacrifice a lot to do it, but it can be done. It doesn't seem to be worth it though. Here are your options.
First regular 492 lance.
Rose Strap
Chivalrous Chain
Brutal Earring
Lancer's Plackart +2
Rajas Ring
Hoard Ring
Goading Belt
Ace's Leggings (you lose 2 haste and acc/atk for this)
This gear puts you at +49 sTP with /sam sub, which is still 2 sTP short, belenos mantle is an option, volley earring is an option, lolValkyrie Fork is an option. But really, you have already lost out on at least 3% haste towards cap and killed some over your DoT (chiv chain instead of love torque/agasayas), (ace's Leggings instead of Lancer's feet +2), hoard ring instead of blitz ring.
Now, better 492 delay option Stingray +2 with sTP. This polearm means you only need to get 38 additional sTP for a 5 hit. At the expense of over 10% base damage over any other good delay 492 lance except Oneiros Lance (which is just under 10%, but has +40 atk). So for the STP

Hoard Ring
With /sam that puts you at +39 stp, which meets the criteria, but also means you might also have to WS in all this gear to maintain the 5 hit, you don't have to, but if you get a 1 hit drakes you might need an additional hit to 100. But, with this build you can still get close to capped haste with Lancer's Mezail +2, Timarli Dastanas, +4% haste legs like Ace's Hose, Goading Belt and Lancer's Feet +2 for 24% haste

Im rather addicted to my OAT 5hit build thats 507 delay and nicer but i cant give it up. So this is what i plan to use when i finish mythic to keep the 5hit OAT style play going.
You have to WS in minimum 40 stp and TP in minimum 46 stp and land all 4 hits of drakes and you end up with 100.4 TP

Raja Ring (5)

Would the regain earring be a viable option? (Largely dependent on haste I'm sure)
What atma do I pair with scorpion queen/plaguebringer? (or just say @#%^ it and go with a beastly 6 hit?)
Just got 80 Rhongomiant this morning, 18 fangs away from 85 so hopefully I'll have that within a day or 2. I'd like to gear for it the best I can and see what it can really do.
