Been wondering lately what would be better for fudo.
Byrnie +1 or Twilight mail.

Given how heavily Tachi: Fudo is modded by attack, Byrnie +1 is going to be your best WS body by far.

Twilight Mail is a bit better if berserk up, Byrnie+1 if Berserk down.

Really depends on the mob anything with decent DEF or lvl, byrnie is better zerk up or down.

Yea forgot to mention with Dia II/III and CBs (either although obviously RCB is better) Mail can do better with Zerk up, otherwise Byrnie+1.

While you can say that byrnie+1 while zerk down, mail zerk up, youll still have mobs that may pose extremely defensive where even with zerk up youll want to use byrnie+1.
So does Fufo put out similar numbers outside abyssea as it does inside? Wiki still has it listed as 60% STR which isn't far off YGK. I'm guessing it doesn't get the ratio att boost of the 2nd 3? Infact, Wiki's info on Fudo is very weak.

Fudo does well outside of Abyssea, obviously you wont get the 6k spikes but compared to the crit emp WSs it doesn't lose as much without the atmas.

No it doesnt recieve the attack bonus that YGK get, which means its like kaiten and needs a balance of str/attack. However it has a higher ftp than YGK and kaiten so its still a strong ws on its own. If I recall clearly lv 90 amano recieved a 20-25% increase to ws damage? so this is enough to put kaiten and fudo relatively neck and neck for damage, with fudo slightly pulling ahead with WotG earring(since it doesnt help kaiten).
Im pretty sure fudo will do just as good as victory smite/ukko fury do if not better, although im not sure how much restraint+ws will pull ahead.
Fudo does very well outside of Abyssea, the damage doesn't differ much from Abyssea you just lose the huge 6k TA procs. I've done numerous 3k Fudo's on old content NMs. It does lack any att mod so RedCurry is an almost must.
