Okay, well I for one was definitely expecting to get another trait of Dual Wield at 85 in this update, since it would fit the pattern.

I just dinged 85 today, and when I was at 80, I checked my TP return after 10 hits, and then I did again at 85 and it appeared to be the same, indicating delay hadn't been reduced. Can anyone else who's gotten to 85 try it out and confirm one way or another? I was quite disappointed that my test indicated we didn't get another tier at 85, but there might have been a fault in my tests, so I was hoping to compare with other NINs.

Haven't had a chance to test this. But let me tell you, with the new AF3, between the head, set bonus, possible new tier, newly finished OAthrice katana and DMG and WS+10% Katana, I am anxious to see how fast I attack.

FFXI, its round two.

There is no tp floor.

Get Hornetneedle & Platoon Dagger

Take all your sTP gear off, change to a subjob with no double attack traits, or sTP.

Equip Ninja Chainmail, Suppanomimi & Koga Hakama. You will not have a cummulative DW of 45%, and two x 150 delay weapons.

At this point you can either go test it, or do the math using equations here and take into account Dual Wield functionality found here.

hint - it's roughly 4.1875 per hit, or 4.2.

4.1875 is 4.1, not 4.2

tp is truncated, not rounded.

Point still stands though, no TP floor.

I did some testing again today, and I got different results than I did when I first tried before starting this thread - specifically, I'm getting a lower TP return now than I was back then, in the same gear. I've run the equations, and the TP return fits with a 35% delay reduction at level 85, which suggests to me that we do have Dual Wield V. I don't know if there was a flaw in my previous tests, or if SE ninja added it/fixed it in a patch since the release of the version update (I took NIN to 85 and tested before any patches were released), but I've ran the numbers a few times, with different weapons and equipment, and it all suggests a 35% delay reduction.
