I'm a bit late, but could I see your citadel buster set? I like to see what other people use for it as ninja.

Well, obviously stuff like Promise Badge's 10 HP and 5 extra HP on Stoneskin can be improved upon. That said, I don't think it's even been proven, or even well-supported, that MND is useless for resisting elemental attacks, and what little anecdotal evidence I have indicates that it may be. Of course, resisting CB with double light weather and no Bar- spell is never going to be a reliable thing, and getting your HP high enough is.

Mirke Body with 10 Acc and 3 Dual Wield. Totally need a .dat mod that shows gloves though. :/

got my Koga Tekko :) although now day/night macros lol, got my Hakama last week which was better, 7%+ DoT increase (dont have kitty)

Got 15 pairs of Impact Knuckles and 9 Strider Swords for my NIN!

Oh wait....

Unfortunately, W. Turban almost always beats it.

Ding 64 and arhat's, and got a Senjuinrikio and a V claw from the same run later that night. Was a pretty awesome day :D.

I carry a stack of every element in my Satchel, atleast 2x Jubaku/Hojo/Kury, hell I even keep a stack of poison.. 24 stacks of Shihei is way to much I like to be prepared. =)

The only non consumables in my satchel is my crafting gear and signal pearl.

im new to the job but am having a blast soo.....

57nin/dnc soloing vt-it robber crabs in boyahda tree with ease. just long fights 10-15 min.

i know this is stupid to post but im having asmuch fun tanking /war and soloing as /dnc sa i ever did on rng.

hmmm i have 5 75 jobs all of them but rng and blu where just meh something to do. but i think nin may be a new main!

Last weekend got Nin 75, Senji unlocked and Perdu acquired.

This week, first 2 katana merits and final evasion merit.

Adder Jambiyah mine for skillups 200-230 and for situationnal uses(limbus and the like) ^^

Have't played in years, but my biggest accomplishment was solo LoO.

Nin/Rdm with haste set, haidate, Dusk Gloves.

Had on a full eva set, miss miss miss miss miss, with full eva merits and a total of about 16% haste from gears, I found rdm to be the best sub for fast cast 2.

Oh also what helped me was I went crazy for a while, and went on a binge parry leveling streak, got it to above 230.

I swear I parried ALL the time, tanking gods I got parries all the time.

It might not be a big accomplishment to some of you, but I soloed the WHM AF3 NM last night.

What I did was farm up the bell using my MNK. That took about 50 minutes in itself. Swapped out to my NIN & made my way to the pop site. I subbed BLM so I could just warp out after the fight. (I used my 2-hr in eldieme to get out)

I was not expecting to get molested like that. I had an eva/haste setup and I only got him down to 70%. Gah, now I had to refarm the bell. At this point, I took a break from trying to get it. A few days later I returned to the necropolis. Got it fairly quickly (5 kills) then decided to NIN/DNC for the fight since I knew there would be times I needed healing.

I killed the 2 Shadows in the room saving my tp up to about 200% before I popped him. My gear for the fight was:

Hardly the best gear, but it proved enough. I almost got taken out by dimensional death a few different times. I only interupted him through damage maybe 1 or 2 times. He likes to use dimensional death right after -ga spells it seems. I got into the habit of timing my casts on -gas so shadows would be up almost as fast as they were taken away. He is very accurate in his swings. I was quite lucky to survive, but I managed.

The fight took about 15 minutes. I think it would have been easier going on my SMN and carby kiting, but what fun is that? :) Good luck to any who try this as it was quite a rush!
