MNK AF3 legs dont match the setFollow
Downloaded it, all clean on scans, was slightly skeptical but I think it looks much better than the actual legs. Nice job.
Edit: I just wish the AF3 wasn't so gaudy, doesn't seem very Monk like at all.

I always thought the ASA mage pants would have looked better as MNK AF. The current one makes my monk look like he shops at Hot Topic. That mod above is pretty good though. The haidate/cosciales look just seems to fit better.

Huh, somehow I missed that Mytoy made those, had no idea he did dat modding stuff. Anyway, that's what I've been using, so much better than the god-awful default model.

Swapped ASA pants on every race and gave ASA pants the crap AF3 dat. The way it was meant to be imo. While all these shorts mods are nice. I don't like shorts, time for a change after rocking haidates for 6 years.

Although the black fire pants are not Monkish in anyway I think the look of them is pretty cool. could've made the whole af3 look like THIS

For mine, I kept the flames and just made them shorts(same model as usu), adding a gold border. I also added flames to the body to tie it in more(not very big tho). as much as i don't think the flames exactly fit, it was the length that was bothering me most. completely hidding the feet.
Edit: @OP: I tried hard to find portions of the other dats that would fit and make sense, but somehow never really thought about the back lol. think it works pretty well on the legs they way you did it, and used the stripe to make it different. I might use that dat, and just put the textures on the usu pants model again. i like the clean straight shorts over the baggy shorts.

@Vegetto: Does your and Mytoy's .dat have the Galka textures in it? If not, would love to use it.

Added some more to my legs to add the gold trim.
Also converted them to dats for hume/elvaan m/f. started on taru's but something went wrong and now galka bodies implode. so i'll do taru/galka later
