A 150 delay dagger worth considering just makes me sad the TP floor was removed.

There are two kinds of people in FFXI, those doing the laughing and those who don't know what's funny.
Kind of hard to say if it is the ultimate offhand to tell the truth. I would say there is a good shot that it is a sidegrade to STR Thokcha, and a sTP Centovente could also probably hold it's own on it as well.
It would make meleeing very fun though with lightning quickness. The triple attack is nice, representing about a 7.2% increase in damage from the triple attack alone (assuming base of at least 16% TA and 7% DA) and the significant delay reduction too.

And if it's a sidegrade to a STR Thokcha, it's a sidegrade (if not slightly inferior) to Aluh Jambiya.

And you have math to back this statement up, right. Not saying your are wrong, but STR Thokcha has a significant advantage in both base damage and attack, while this dagger has a seemingly equal advantage in attack speed and tp gain.
You can plug it into Motenten's sheet and take a look, but it wins. It also wins for Dancer. D:<
