Optimal Eviseration SetFollow

Even with a modest 140 DEX and a generous 10 fSTR Soil Belt pulls ahead outside Abyssea, inside Abyssea things would lean even further towards Soil Belt due to buffs.

Delta earring doesn't really matter that much in the grand scheme of things and I'd stick to Aesir for the most part.

As for Tumbler/ASA I'd probably just stick with Tumbler even though ASA might be slightly better (depending on secondary augment).

The overall damage is hard to consider when you're asking about trade-offs, and especially with your leg pieces it's hard to give a good answer with only 1 known augment.

I would trade the soil neck/belt in favor of cuch belt and love torque. Also the mantle to one of the myriad of atk mantles. Foragers at the least, that new atk+DA mantle off cerb boss at best.

The big draw of the WS gorget/belts is the FTP and ~10 acc. Adding 0.1ftp on Evis is TINY. FTP only works on the 1st hit, so it is inherently unimportant on multi hit WS. Evis (while dual wielding) is the 'equivalent' of a 6.0 FTP and 7-8.0 if you get DA procs. The belt and neck only add 0.1 FTP to the 1st hit making the total go from 6 to 6.1. That only boosts damage by 1.6%. Same for the belt. 5 dex and 7 atk on love torque will add more damage because dex boosts affect ALL hits (not just teh 1st) as does teh atk. Cuch belt is even more lopsided with 6 dex and 10 atk.

Other than that, its just the acc which torque will match, and belt will fall a little short, but it is a fair trade even ignoring the fact that dnc has more acc than thf, and abyssea gives us all great acc.

The mantle is just not that powerful. It was rated at, i believe 2-3%. Atk mantle will do more than that and works on NON crits. If you get aethling mantle (20atk/3% DA) it just blows it away. Even a foragers will win.

How does the Knack Pendant (Dex +4 att +2) or Shifting Necklace (Dex +5) compare with a Soil Gorget for those of us who might not be up to the challenge of trying to put together a JOL run for a Love Torque (and not willing to drop 3 mil on an Ancient Torque)? :(

Or if I won't get a Love Torque should I go for an Agasaya's Collar (Acc & Att +8 & Sublte Blow +5)?

Pretty much I'm just trying to say I don't think I'll be getting a LT anytime soon so what's the next best few down the list?

The old ranking for multi hit WS was basically: Love>Gorget>PCC>other stuff.

Gorgets are still really good, just torque edges it out. This was before all the new stuff. Ancient torque is ahead of PCC, and probably about a sidegrade to gorgets. The agasaya 8acc/atk is tempting, but again, probably just about a sidegrade from gorgets. Everything else I would pass on.

Basically the gorget has2 things. acc10, 0.1ftp (~1.6%ish damage). Anything with close to 10 acc and an additional boost (dex on ancient, atk an agasaya) will basically be a sidegrade. Love torque only edges out because it has two major bonuses+acc while most have only one+acc. Love has the dex boost similar to ancient, but also an atk boost similar to agasaya. One or the other is about the same as the gorget. Both pushes it up a notch.

TLDR: Gorget is still roughly tied for second best behind love and alongside other things like ancient/agasaya. You are just fine sticking with gorget until when/if you get a love, or some new gear is released that beats it more :P

Because I have 8 free inventory spaces total and collecting AF3 for 11 jobs is just making it worse.
