After some long hours building parties, an inexplicable depop, and then a first failed zerg, got lucky enough to go 1/1 on Machismo (well, the base version of it) today.

Got Lava's and Kusha Rings last weekend, and Desultor Tassets earlier this evening with Haste3 acc7.

Double whammy! Next day: Denali Wristbands get!

Finally some Eva hands. Also will go well with my gimp mdef set.

4/5 Denali now, just need the elusive legs...

Well, it's now 2010. My turn to add an accomplishment!!

Today I finished my Skadi's Visor. With that piece I have completed the full set of skadi's leather armor attire.

A linkshell friend enhanced my screenshot to what you see below. I simply adore this visual.

Jan 16th: Obtained Assassin's Armlets & Sirocco Kurki WOOT!
LS friend had the ToD for Sirocco NM and got his 9-10 hours earlier that day. Went back around window time, wind weather popped and so did Kreutzet! Friend had fallen asleep and I did about 20 <call>'s for him lol. Ended up claiming NM while trying to coordinate help from LS friends and I ended up dying along with my afk freind (oops didn't think Ol' Kreutzy saw him standing over away from me lol). Finally my friend woke up, and with his Dual Boxed blm/whm raised me, and I ended up claiming NM/perfect dodging, inviting LS mate from Valley of Sorrow zone, then inviting another friend who finally got there.

Finally two people dead later, knife dropped, got a raise and got it.
Kreutzet isn't really that hard... I think cause we had some afk/hurry claim before depop/weakened fighting going on, it made it a little challenging lol.

at any rate... A GREAT DAY!!!!!

Dinged to 42, and later that night while messing around in Maze of Shakrami, ate quake from Trembler Tabitha and deleveled to 41. It was actually pretty hilarious. First time ancient magic has ever been used on either of my characters. Hit for 1028, btw.

lol, I love how that looks Shamaya, specially with Mandy/Machismo.

Finally capped my THF merits. God that was a nightmare. I don't ever want to sync under 60 on THF again.

Ended up with [5str and 8marks were done for my cor]:

8dagger, 8marks, 4eva, 5str, 4crithit, 5triple attack, 3SA, 2TA, 5Feint, 4Assassin's Charge, and 1 Aura Steal.

only thing left to merit is hp/mp and possibly enmity. Just need to finish getting drk to 37 so I can decide how I want to do my mp merits for those rare thf/drk times.

Friggin awesome on mythic. FINALLY we can get some tests! Much looking forward to it.

Mine is only semi-thf related, but after tanking/camping charybdis for like 10 other people over the years, I finally got one for ME! (Pld was 67 and figured it was time) But anyway, SEVEN dang hours after window opened, he finally popped. Tanked like a champ again (its a fun fight) and finally got one.

Goal this weekend was get Joy, lv pld from 67-70.

By the way, Drg is really funny now. I can wear full homam/heca and equip a blau (why drg can use blau....dunno) and look like a great thf. Similarly I can wear homam/ares/suppa and equip a joytoy (why drg can use joy....dunno) and be a neato pld clone. I wanna go anon to LS nights and tank HNMs now! Drg tank go!

Edit: Forgot, a few weeks ago I got skadi 25 hands. Only need Skadi hand 35 and Body 35 (Mother#$%@ing gears) and i will have entire skadi set ^_^

Bard can equip both blau and joyeuse as well as full hecatomb. While they can't equip homam they CAN augment their 3 expansion items just like we do our mirke anwig and tassets, and they can add dusk to the hands and feet creating a seriously wicked melee. Bard dagger skill is B-, but unlike our lame sword skill theirs is C-, and if they have 8 merits in both sword and dagger they can throw out some serious damage. It's damn scary what a bard can do when given the right DD gear and using evisceration. Blau/joytoy, full heca and peacock charm, expansion trio and dusk, rajas/toreadors, charger, swift and brutal/suppa, hollow and pixie, cuchulain's mantle and cuchulain's belt. They get it all, AND they come with their own double songs so they (and you) will always be buffed.

..... Fear the bard, for they can do terrible terrible things.

Well I got that stuff for me bard; the way I think of a bard in lore, I could see them picking up a dagger or sword. But a drg o.O. So strange, lol.

A couple times, some friends and I did a 5-6brd party, that was interesting.

Finally got my first piece of homam tonight and it was the piece that I wanted the most: Homam gambieras.

Also got enkidu's mittens last weekend for some pretty decent WS hands (felt gimp using AF hands but that's all I had lol)

Slowly but surely I'm ungimping my THF...still got a long way to go tho ; ;

Obtained a Fane Baselard with DMG+6, ACC+6, and Subtle Blow+6... not exactly what I was going for (wanted +8 ACC and TA), but I'm still very happy with this.

Going to continue trying.

And I joined a yovra farming static this past week, so I'll be matching it with a Breeze Gorget soon, I hope.

<True Strike> A friend of mine and I duo these quite a lot and it always seems to shock people. It's very doable.

Congrats Noodles! I actually got myself a pair of Oily Trousers on Monday too. Dropped me under my target total though, cause I've been planning on buying Skadi35feet from a salvage group next time they drop. Otherwise I would have picked up Fire Bomblet and/or Heca Harness too.

Also got Hollow Earring within the past.... week or so.
