Cure macros and the new ASA pantsFollow

Ok, just as I finally thought I perfected my Cure macros, along come these new ASA Cure Pot pants. I should preface my remarks by saying I do not use spellcast, and am loathe to start doing so. So I only have 6 macro slots to play with. Therefore, my question is, "how in holy hell are we supposed to macro things NOW?"

Before the ASA pants, my cure macros went along the following lines:

/equip feet "Cure Clogs"
/ma "Cure V"
/wait 1
/equip main "Templars Mace"
/equip head "Selenian Cap"
/equip feet "Blessed Pumps"

Now, you might ask why I need to macro in the Mace and the Cap to begin with. This is because my Haste/Erase/Esuna/etc macros look like this:

/equip main "Capricorn's Staff"
/equip head "Walahra's Turban"
/equip feet "Blessed Pumps"
/equip legs "Blessed Trousers"
/ma "Haste" <t>

I wanted nice, self-contained macros for each spell. But see my difficulty? The Blessed Trousers belong in any spell where recast is affected by Haste. So after I Haste someone, I am wearing the Trousers. But I can't fit the Tatsumaki Sitagoromo into my Cure macro. How do you guys set up your Cure macros now in light of these new pants? Hallp! :)

A compromise is about as good as it gets, without making another macro for another equipment swap; which most people probably don't bother doing. Of course the windower users have got a big advantage with thier unlimited macro lines, bet you anyone boasting their epeen probably uses it to swap every single piece of gear they have to make their skill/spells stronger, while non-cheaters are stuck with a limit of six lines. Scathing aside, I usually have one macro set for my usual battle gear, which saves me having to use macros to put back on normal gear after casting a spell that swaps to the alternate.

You won't. You don't need the "/wait 1" at all. Just make sure the Blessed Pumps aren't the first thing you swap into after beginning the cast.

For example, this would work:
/equip feet "Cure Clogs"
/ma "Cure V" <t>
/equip main "Templar Mace"
/equip feet "Blessed Pumps"

This would give you both the -15% from Cure Clogs, as well as the MND/Haste/Enmity from Blessed Pumps.

However, this would NOT work:
/equip feet "Cure Clogs"
/ma "Cure V" <t>
/equip feet "Blessed Pumps"
/equip main "Templar Mace"

The reason being that in the second scenario, the game would read your two foot swaps as being a "toggle". This is a very specific feature of the game which is not very well-documented, but two adjacent "/equip" commands for the same slot will act as a toggle rather than processing each /equip line individually.
