And I have a hatred for Wolverine that burns hotter than a thousand exploding suns, movie and comic version.

Also: ******* Middle of Nowhere is relative to where one considers "somewhere" to be. Example: Twenty minutes outside the city and beyond is ******* Middle of Nowhere for me.

I'm definitely happier with the Disney stuff. I hate the travesty they call X-men. I'm positive on the current Spider-Man reboot, but was meh on the last trilogy. But Garfield's rendition actually feels like Peter Parker.

So a sour stout is an odd beer.

Very tasty but odd.

That seems strange to me yeah. I get the sour ale, but a sour stout is having trouble fitting into my head :D

Try Jolly Pumpkin's Madrugada Obscura (which is what I'm drinking now) or The Bruery's Tart Of Darkness (which will be much harder to get).

I admit that it did take a bit to get past the mental block that a stout should not be sour but how it starts out like a gueuze and slowly changes to the roasted malts of a stout as you taste it is brilliant.

Edit: mine is almost 2 years old, bottled on 16 January 2012, and I think that is a bit too old to be at it's peak. I think with half a year or a year on it it would have a better balance between sour and stout.

I'm trying to imagine a sour stout, and it's making me imagine stale coffee.

Do not want.

I'm making a coffee chocolate stout right now. It's going to be a very strong beer, it's still fermenting fairly aggressively after 5 days.

You should (have) add(ed) maple syrup for a true Canadian stout.

Chocolate, coffee, maple syrup. It'd be a Tim Hortons stout.

It's not, it's delightful. If you can get them, give Jolly Pumpkin a try. All their beers are sours and I think they've got a fairly widespread distribution.

This is an Alma free-place, yet you insist on bringing him up again and again. I would have thought you would want to keep his presence out of the parts of the forums you liked.

Wasting too much time watching all of OKGO's crazy music videos (you man know them for their treadmill music video). They come up with so many different cool ideas for clips and go to so much effort.

Meh, his problem with gay men is that they put penises in their mouths. It's not really that complex.

I can say the same thing about the Taco Bell I had last week. Might change beer to a different four letter word though.

He struggles when words have multiple or obscure meanings; he really just dislikes happy people.
