Terry Crews? No ... Terry Bollea? Oh way off ... Oh yeah, Tyler Perry. Yeah, I can't remember ever really enjoying a Tyler Perry movie.

Well obviously somebody does! Smiley: motz

Yeah, it's kind of slowly becoming my unofficial B.S. w/ Aethien forum. I've got to get in the habit of getting back here from time to time again. Took several weeks off from internet-ing and never got back into it fully. Holidays are busy and such.

I see Poldaran has kept that feminist thread going...

It gets vaguely interesting once every few pages.

I saw Frozen talk when I looked at it yesterday and I wasn't convinced I needed any more Frozen stuff in my life. That and I really don't care much about 4chan drama trolls and such. It is amusing watching him get worked up about it though.

It seemed like a good idea at the time. Didn't think it'd still be a thing 6 months later...

The world would be a boring place without Chan Drama.

The original story is much better, anyway. It's also called The Snow Queen, but I guess since their last adaptation of a H.C. Andersen story, The Little Mermaid, was such a box office flop, they decided to go with "Frozen", which makes me think of frozen yogurt every time I see it.

It would, but I'm not convinced it's good Chan drama. Perhaps I'm spoiled.

Did Mermaid flop? I'll take your word for it, as I can't say I was too into it back in the day. They have a Little Mermaid Lego set coming out I hear.

Frozen makes me think of freeze tag. Not it.

It was sarcasm without a smiley. The Little Mermaid was a box office success.

Well that works. It wasn't very becoming for a boy to be too into little mermaid back then, and I wasn't old enough to like it for the shell bras and other bouncy bits, so that one pretty much passed me over.

But you have kids, don't you? You haven't been force-fed The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, etc.?

I don't think the Little Mermaid has been released in the last couple of years, so we don't have that one yet. They know Lion King, kinda, but they broke the DVD a while back so that one has been slipping from memory.

Seriously, it's all Frozen.

Kids these days...

Smiley: disappointed

I'm honestly not sure if our Disney collection increased because of the kid or if we'd just kind of always had them. I know I always had Robin Hood, Lion King, and Pinnochio. Wifemate merged her collection, which I can't remember. But yeah, Frozen and Tangled are the two big things I can remember directly related to the spawn.

Didn't think I'd ever say I miss watching Tangled on auto-repeat, but I'm almost there.

Parent's kept all our old Disney movies, so we more or less started from scratch. Which means waiting until they're released, or waiting until they show up at the used book store in town.

The Little Mermaid was released on DVD/Blu-ray a while back. Definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen it yet. The humor is pretty good, and the songs... the songs...

Take a trip to New York City and go see the Lion King on Broadway. You and your wife will love it and the kids will too.

I think Young Frankenstein is still playing, so that's worth a go.

Sounds scary.

Also, long weekends are fun. I built a thingy. Smiley: nod

It's pretty good. Not up there with The Producers, but it's still good.
