I played percussion in high school and through university, aside from that I pretend I know how to play the guitar, and gradually that's less and less of a lie. It's pretty slow though, I don't practice enough.

Wish I didn't have to do my hair every morning.

Unfortunately, my hair looks way awkward when it's "au naturel".

stop washing it so much and things will get better

ocean water is also great for hair, so go jump in the ocean in the morning instead of showering Smiley: lol

I'm still used to washing my hair every other day. You pretty much have to with long hair because it looks awful when it gets greasy.

I can't go a day without washing my hair. It gets far too oily. I feel like my day 2 is more akin to other peoples' days 3 or 4.

Join the military. Out of my three deployments I picked up bass guitar and piano.

I'm a little surprised that doesn't lead to more friendly fire.

That's why you teach and practice in places that require you to check your weapon. Smiley: thumbsup

I did an 8k trail race last weekend after not nearly enough running preparation (I've mostly been biking)

Finished in a decent time, but thrashed my legs doing it.

Almost forgot the marathon is in two months.

Not that it'll make any difference. I'll forget in a few days and a few page flips anyway.

I don't see the point in running. Why run when you can cycle and get there much faster?

I did a half marathon a couple years ago, but I think I'm going to do more shorter trail running stuff

Less impact, and also shorter.

Why cycle when I can drive?

Because I enjoy it.

Because gas costs money and parking in small towns built before cars is a pain in the ***.

How does small towns built before cars convince me to bike instead of run? Smiley: dubious

It convinces you to bike instead of drive a car.

I love bicycle but i live in redneck truck country and they run you over. I do some "spinning" at home and really enjoyed it. It's a good workout.
