My town is trying to pass an ordinance that would ban landlords from renting to anyone with two or more major drug convictions.

I might as well live in the bible belt.

i wouldnt be able to live there... and i havent done drugs in 4 years or so

maybe the town could pass a law where if you have been to church twice in the pass year you couldnt rent. would probably make for better neighbors.

I'm sorry for your luck. It's been about two years or more since I was in church last. And it was a Super Baptist church, so I left feeling incredibly pissed off. ******* preacher had the gall to talk about other people of different religions and how they worshiped false gods, so their praying was a complete waste of time. Made me so mad.

k so a little drunk but bear with me

The event is holdout mode. Your goal is to protect the base (in this case, Skeleton King while he gets a makeover). There is a limited amount of heroes, and some of their abilities have been changed to better fit the mode. Sven is a good choice especially with his cleave, but the downside is you're not good until lategame when you get a bunch of damage items.

Kill sh*t, make sure you are always picking up gold, etc. Sven pairs especially well with Magnus. People are rezzed and life/mana is refilled upon a wave completion, so the only goal is to protect Skeleton King until all mobs are dead. That's it. Any specific questions?

Sven's stun is good early on, but he needs damage to remain effective. Build typical strength carry. Attack speed and damage, crit, etc. Daedalus, Heart, Heaven's Halbard. Grab a wand early, you get oodles of charges from the abilities creeps use.

I think specific wave advice is more prudent here than hero advice, so here it goes: On the undying wave, kill zombies as necessary, but Undying is your priority since he summons more zombies. Stun him mid cast if you can. For the Nature's Profit wave, focus the NPs first. They can summon an insane amount of treants, and the Treant Protectors aren't a huge threat by themselves. For the Slark wave, dodge the Slark leaps - they hurt really, really bad. For the Lich wave, spread out. He uses Lich's ult (chain frost, which is an orb that bounces between characters).

Make sure you're around dying creeps as much as possible. The experience is super valuable.

If you want to carry, pick Drow or Sven. Lina is also a good all-around pick, with good AoE early and good right-click late, and if you want to support Crystal Maiden will always be good (cast her aura on people AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Can't emphasize that enough.) If you pick a support (I'd categorize Magnus in here for this mode) try and go full aurabitch mode. Vlads, drums, anything that give an aura or increases damage of teammates/increases damage taken by the enemy/reduces damage taken by allies. Auras are really good in this mode.

What's up with that? You've hated on the Bible Belters more than anyone else in this thread combined.

Edit: as per the thread's topic about drug offenders: I've never even smoked weed, really. Something I should do when I visit Europe summer after next?

Edit 2:

What, specifically, offends you about that? Religions are going to compete as part of the whole religion process, so how is that any different? Genuinely curious, trying not to sound condescending or anything.

Oh, also Fishy, weed isn't all that special. It mostly just makes you relaxed and/or giggly. And if by Europe you meant in Amsterdam then you might as well but lots of other countries in Europe are just as crazy on the drugs as America.

Thanks! Smiley: grin

My last attempt got us to the spider, but we wiped out there. We just couldn't take it out before we got way too swarmed.

Anyone else remember the thread where Russtle wouldn't believe Theo was Theo and was insisting that the pics of Theo holding signs calling Russtle stupid were photoshopped?

Good times.

I'm trying to remember what the thread was actually about. I FEEL like AV was involved, but perhaps not.

Organized religion perhaps, but that is part of why I hate organized religion. I'm Wiccan, and we don't proselytize or compete with other religions on who is "right." Personally, I'm of the opinion that every religion is worshiping the same higher power, they just have different ways of going about it. The whole concept of "my religion is right, yours is wrong" just disgusts me.

The names in that thread, alone, evoke nostalgia.

I was trying to get into Theo's pants. Some things just never change.

Know what's awkward?

When you're buying condoms/lube and the person in front of you is taking forever, AND THEN decides to sign up for a rewards card (requiring paperwork), AND THEN decides they need to keep turning around to apologize to you over and over.

Oh, wait, no, it's the part where the cashier decides to initiate a three-way conversation. So it's you and two old women chatting as if one of you isn't holding the equipment for buttsex.

Yeah. Not at all awkward. Smiley: lolSmiley: lolSmiley: lol

That was literally about a minute of photoshop, it greatly annoyed Theo though so totally worth it.

Edit: Idiggory, at that point you might as well look them straight in the eyes and wink.
