Rambling explanation:
I'm not big on the console commands, you know in a 'cheat code' kind of way. That said, I have nothing against resetting my perk points on a character I've invested 100+ hours into. The characters I've been trying have actually been pretty different from each other up to this point though ( conjuration archer, light armor + sword-n-board, dual-wield thief, heavy armor mage) It'd take more than the simple respec to change my light armor + sword-n-board into a heavy armor mage. Don't have many of the right skills leveled, I'd have to go out and get new gear and improve it, there are quest lines I'd want to go back and do, etc.
At that point I'm either entering a crazy number of commands or just re-rolling; which seemed like the better idea to me at least.
