hey Everyone :),
Today I decided to get back into the mmo world since the last mmo I've played (FFXI) is basically dieing out, or it is in my server, so I have decided to join wow. I love to tank so I want to take up PLD and was wondering what is the best race fr this class? Thank a million for the help :)

Welcome to the forum IcyMeph. Race choice isn't game breaking so I would go with whatever you like the most. Aliance has 3 to choose from and Horde 2 so your choice in faction should narrow it down a little for you.
For tanking my choices would be Tauren for Horde (stam bonus is nice for a tank) and Human for Alliance (free trinket and increased reputation gain).
Dwarves can also be pretty decent with the incoming change to our racial bonus. Stoneskin reduces all damage taken by 10% as well as removing all Bleed, Diseases and Poisons. Increased expertise with Maces is useful as well and the Archaeology boost is just lovely.

Thanks a million guys, I really appreciate your advices:). Originally I was thinking blood elf for tanking but idk how they would be as tanks

Any race can function just fine in any role. Honestly, what matters most in the long run is how much you like the look of your character, because personally, I wouldn't be able to stand looking at a female tauren all the way to 85, much less run end-game content with one. Yes, that's personal opinion, but no racial is game breaking in the end. Various racials are pretty nice for sure, but go with what you like to look at.
