Build SuggestionFollow

Ok folks, I had a quick question regarding what build would be good for what I want to do.

The idea is that I would like to solo everything I possibly can, so I need a build that would allow me to survive as long as possible in demanding situation. I am talking about soloing Scarlet Monastery at around level 35. That is just an example, I would like to do many instances, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about Spec for such an adventure.

Thanks!

Funny I've been thinking along these same lines lately. I've been wanting to make my unused 2nd spec into a soloing spec, especially as I near the level cap, and I choose more of a focus for my primary spec.

I've been thinking something along these lines: linky, but I have a number of questions outstanding in my mind still.

1) Demonic Aegis vs Ancient Grimoire - Both seem to have some minor survivability benefits.

2) How much does the extra damage from Legion Strike (talents + glyph) help with aggro, and do I need them at all?

3) What exactly counts as an "affliction spell" for soul siphon? - Could make me consider a more conventional Demon/Destruct build.

I don't know though, I haven't played demonology since pre-4.0 so I'm pretty deep into speculation here. Smiley: lol

I was toying with that same build, but I am wondering if Metamorphosis would be useful at all. Seems to me that a good solid demon would be a better soloing force than combining the resource into a single piece a-la the demon form. What do you think?

Hmmm...

When I added Metamorphosis I was also thinking of it as a survivability CD. That extra 600% armor for if I aggro'd another group/pat, or when Demonic Rebirth was on CD (hopefully almost off CD). I'm not sure how much that would happen though, not much if you were careful I'd imagine. For just 1 talent point though, it seemed like a decent CD.

Yeah, that is a good point. Not like we are struggling with putting that point somewhere else that would be more viable.

I will have to play with it a bit. My main problem is that I am playing alliance right now, and I don't have Cata yet. I refuse to play a human, and gnomes make my skin itch when they talk. I need to buy the damn expansion so I can play a Worgen.

Worgen seem like they'd have some potential: dot - dot - dot - dash. <.< >.> >.<

I went human for the free PvP trinket mainly.

Good luck messing with the build, and get cata! Smiley: grin

I know I know... I need to get going on that. If I can slip it into the monthly expenses without my domestic boss noticing I will.

I did not think of the Worgen dash potential there. That is amusing.

I have never used the Felguard before, is he a better tank than the voidwalker?
