Water Elemental can't freeze in BG? :: World of Warcraft

I'm new to PVP and for some reason my Water Elemental can't freeze.

I could have sworn he could freeze the last time I did a BG. I know back in the day they had a glyph for your Ele that took that ability away....

Any idea?

This is the first I've heard of anything like this.

Nope. The Ele is out. I have him as a point/click item because I rarely have to pull him out (Meaning he rarely dies and only occasionally disappears due to Range)

I'll take a screenshot tonight I guess

Found the answer -

As a frost mage you need to have your elemental out.

Then go into your menu and go to Pets.

The pet's commands will be in there - you need to add it to the pet's action bar.

I have no idea why this happens... But that's the solution.
