Haste does not play well with Arcane's Mastery. The faster you cast your spells, the faster you'll get lower mana, and the weaker you'll hit. With arcane, now you want to be able to do as much damage per hit as possible, instead of hitting as fast as you can. As such, you'll want stats like Int/Spellpower, crit, and Mastery.

Some haste isn't a bad thing, but it's definitely not something I would stack.
