BS is getting hit by the nerf bat in 4.0.3:
Backstab now deals 150% weapon damage, down from 200%.

At least the Ambush change was a data mining error. Sub Mastery effecting SnD/Recup is pretty sweet though.

Backstab is also 200% at level 80. If you are on beta, you may have a tooltip that says 150%, but it is lying to you. If you are on live, it has always been 200% and will stay that way for Cataclysm.
Below level 80, Backstab (and other attacks) will do less weapon damage, which is really all this change was trying to accomplish. ( Source )

Oh. Well, that's alright then. 
That entire batch of patchnotes seems mocked up. We were off making a ruckus in the priest forums as well, only to be corrected a day later by a message saying "oh wait guys, it's just rank one that's getting a slight nerf, rank 2 of the talent is staying as it is".
I don't trust MMO-champion anymore!
Not until the next batch of patchnotes, anyway.
On another note, Theo, did you get into the beta or not? I recall you saying something like that earlier on. According to a pall of mine, level 85 pre-mades are up since today, so I might need to try out a rogue aside from my priest to see where smoke bomb is at. Preparing for another 2 hours of setting up my UI o/

Nah, I haven't talked to my friend that works at Blizzard in a long time, so I didn't get a Friends and Family beta invite this year.
I was talking about the WotLK beta in =21, that's probably where you got the impression from.
85 premades (with ilvl 333 gear) have been up for a while, if Totalbiscuit is anything to go by, FWIW.
