Hey all!

Just transferred my Resto/Ele shammy over to the US PVE Beta realm. Haven't gotten a chance to do much, but I wanted to put this out here so I can attempt to answer any questions people have so far. (My char, for reference, is Jendara on Whisperwind (US))

I don't anticipate respeccing to Enhance, though I can if demand is high enough, I have played as that spec in the past.

Will also do my best to post semi-regularly, though my time is relatively limited at the moment.

Awesome, keep us posted. :D I don't play any more, but I want to see where they are taking Shamans.

Can you give any feedback on Telluric Currents? It seems nifty, but I don't know what I'd drop in order to include it in a build with the current state of the trees (Ancestral Swiftness is a must have, so probably Ancestral Knowledge).

I apologize for the huge delay in response, have had some family stuff come up.

I haven't had a chance to try out as many of the new talents as I would like...my shammy is currently stuck on a boat, with no confirmed eta on when the bug will be fixed. I quested through a lot of Vashj'ir as elemental, and haven't noticed a huge change from live, although the new earthquake AoE is pretty awesome.

1. Does Fulmination do good damage?

2. Is Lava Surge as awesome as it sounds?

3. Does Feedback allow for very rapid use of Elemental Mastery?

4. What is Earthquake like? (Damage, visuals, etc.)

5. Get a Goblin trike, take screenshot riding it.

1: When I was able to try it, it was bugged, so it did the damage from the orbs to yourself instead of the mob. Got the shammy unstuck, so hopefully will be able to re-test tomorrow.

2: Yes. I found it extremely helpful in breaking up a rather monotonous rotation.

3: Honestly hadn't been using Elemental Mastery while soloing, but will give it a try as soon as I can.

4: Graphics are still being fine tuned, but it's a circle of brown earth breaking apart and shaking. I haven't looked at my combat log for exact numbers, but it feels similar to a mage's blizzard, at least while soloing.

5: Will look into that, and take a few screenshots of other abilities as well.

Got to heal an instance on the Shaman last night...I apologize, I'm really bad at paying attention to numbers, but Telluric Currents (or however you spell it) is actually a lot of fun. Since we're being a bit more careful about when we heal, there's a bit of extra time to sling some lightning bolts, and I actually did notice a difference in my mana. Will try and pay attention to exact numbers next time, but so far it seems to be a positive!

The gear increase in Cata is insane as well. My live Shaman is pretty well geared, all 264 with a heroic piece or two thrown in (about 6100 GS, I've been told), and at 82 I'm rocking some blues and a green or two. New gear is fun, but replacing heroic Lockjaw/Trauma with a plank with a nail in it is kinda sad, hehe.
