I played an afflic lock to lvl 70 back in TBC. I had a great time raiding, until I discovered the arena. When WoTLK came out I lost some of the love for my lock. He sat at lvl 71 untill about 2 weeks ago when I dusted him off to start lvling him again. Ive been playing a resto druid in the arena with my wife on my team as an afflic lock. The damage she can put out is jawdropping. So much so, that I started up my lock again, and the rogue on our 3s team is considering having bliz restore his lock(his account got hacked and the jerkoff who hacked it paid blizzard to transfer his lvl 80 lock and priest to another server). If he cant get it restored he is considering starting another lock.
Ok so on to the reason I started this topic.. If one lock is great, what about 2 or even 3?
I dont care if we lack CC and all that. Im going for all out fun with this team. Its ok if we lose, Im just wondering if we would stand a chance, or would we be constantly ROFLSTOMPed in every battle? Im thinking that no one could survive 3 sets of full afflic spec dots. Our strategy would be something like all focus on the healer then while the healer is trying to heal through all our dots and deal with all of our pets we could switch focus to another person and repeat the process. I know holy pallies would be a problem since they could just bubble to get rid of unstable affliction, but could they heal someone else that has 3 sets of dots rolling on them? Im also really looking forward to facing a healer that is new to arena and watch him dispell 3 unstable afflictions. I dont know, maybe Im crazy, or maybe im just dumb, But its stuff like this that really keeps this game alive for me. Anyway what are your thoughts, or expiriences on this topic?
P.S. I have been awake for well over 50 hours straight and Im at work so Im rushing to get this all typed out, so please forgive me if this makes absolutely no sense at all.
