So of course my HPS is not going to be god like as you Mr. Shammy E. Litest. Sorry but I am about to rant.

I was in a 10 man ToC. Nothing big, just somthing to help me get back into healing after a small alt leveling break. After the regular 45 minutes of sitting there fishing while they try to find another healer and the ever elusive tank, we start the Northern Beast. Things started fine and we were looking good going into Acidmaw and Dreadscale, but then the tanks messed up on re-picking up agro after an enraged Dreadscale popped back up from the ground and we instantly lose 2 people. We finish killing Dreadscale and Icehowl comes out, and tank lose agro for a second and 3 more people get obliterated by the 60% point, and we are down to the 2 tanks, the 2 healers (that includes me) and one dps. Some how we are able to all stay alive (I am not bragging but...) and take out Icehowl.

Then the other healer, a shammy, wispers me "LOL look at your HPS" "How is it that low?" Me: "I am Disc, we mostly make damage never happen, so we do not have as high HPS." Now most people might not realize that and stop after that. Not this shammy. "I think I am going to tell the raid leader. We need people who should be able to atleast heal heroics."

I spent the down time in between bosses arguring with this guy to the point were he said that he would stop healing the tanks. Guess who dies and causes a wipe next boss? The dps. While the tanks were just fine. And that is with me helping while the tanks are topped up.

Not only should you stop telling me how to heal, when you cannot seem to do the same, you should also stop telling me how to play my class.

Sorry for rant, but it is over now.

Protip: Get some meter that includes absorbs, then link that to them after the next bossfight.

Ideally, the next bossfight should be Twin Val'kyr (12k HPS is sexy), LDW or Lootship because in my experience, that's the fights where Disc seems to do much better than other healers on the meters.


Not that the meters matter, really.


There's always some shaman who tells me how to use Flash Heal instead of PW:S and stuff like that, but any good raid leader should know things like that and I've luckily never had anyone complain like that in anything higher than ICC25 4/12 raids. If a raid leader put me on portals on Valithria, I'd feel pretty sad about him/her.
