England? Just a guess, but I don't think I've heard anyone else on the planet say "cuppa", it's usually "Cup Of"

Which reminds me, today I told a Danish guy I know that I think talking to him is brilliant. He wasn't sure how to take it and was like "Are you talking British?", and when I told him I though he was a lovely person he asked me if I was being sarcastic, because apparently that is the only way such a word would be used in Denmark. Or Fyn. Or something.

Anyway, I think it is funny how anyone would deduct from two Danish words that I might be Norwegian. Which gives me reason to have another project in the near future (what with written Norwegian being quite manageable and all that). North, you should add me on Facebook, I always put up random stuff in random languages. Today I put up agudådådaa, and Mazra got insulted because it isn't a word. Then I learned how to say more nasty things in Danish. It is sad that 95% of the Danish I've learned is nasty.

Yeah, I noticed when I was in Denmark, sort of.

I was not sure how far the similarities went (I'm still not), but I like Facebook because I can pester Mazra to teach me a bit of Danish on there, and he is unfortunately the only person who teaches me not so nasty Danish - with my other Danish guys, stuff like hold kæft (you should be able to guess this) is part of the nice, polite things they teach me.

The issue is that no matter whether I want to learn Danish or Norwegian (with the latter making much less sense for me personally at the moment), I can gain no official UK qualification in either. Nor in Swedish. I don't know what is wrong with the British system. You can get college level qualifications in lots of languages I'd never even heard of before getting info on the exams. Just nothing sufficiently Scandinavian, even though that's where all the British people migrate nowadays. I hate this system, occasionally. Most of the time it is brilliant since it has enabled me to do 3 language courses on top of my science studies.

But they get a chance to learn Dutch and Gujarati?

Actually after looking it up, the numbers make it seem reasonable.

Gujarati has 46 million speakers.
Dutch 22 million.
Danish 6 million and Norwegian 5, so I suppose they have some sort of threshold.

Doesn't mean I like it.


Oh, and Dutch accents are funny. Danish accents are more awesome, though, because they're so strange.

It is a language used on the Indian sub continent.

I just found out today that Aliena, who does some of the beta videos from the This Week in Warcraft, is an officer in my guild on the beta. I thought it was pretty cool, but one of the guys last night was hardcore freaking out about it.

Me too, except the broccoli part.

I don't mind it as a garnish/accompaniment, I eat it in casseroles. But it's more like I simply tolerate its existence, and that tolerance has a limit; in the aforementioned casseroles I get to a point where I just don't even want to look at the broccoli anymore, and I'd imagine that something named "broccoli pie" is going to have the broccoli as the star of the show which means I'd probably be very tired of it after just a few bites.

Give me a good chicken pot pie with broccoli in it anyday, but just 'broccoli pie'? Don't think so.

You should come to the Netherlands anyway because we need more cool people here.

Everything is possible, you only need to figure out how to do it.
And for Amsterdam I can help you figure stuff out.

I just checked the site, it's cheaper than my education by a couple hundred euros a year and I can afford everything with less than €750/month to spend without much issues.


I'm not saying that it's easy to figure out, but that looks doable to me.

I don't think you have to live on campus or something, so there's always cheaper places to live.
Also, I think my expenses would be the same per month if I wasn't Dutch. I just wouldn't get that amount of money per month from the government with as little of it as a loan.

Edit: also, given that 2/3rd of the 12k figure they give is an estimate I'd say that it really doesn't have to be 1k+/month.

I would guess that they offer that option but it isn't required.

If the raid are confused tell them its like the 2nd phase of Malygos. When it changes to the -30% damage version, then I'll want people to know what it is.

There's never been a healing class available to gnomes, so I've always had it in my head that gnomes can't heal. Gnome priest - it sounds wrong. 5% mana is a very nice racial tho, has anyone been tempted to go gnome?

If not worgen or gnome, looking at stuff like racials, humans win. Extra spirit, handy racial spell like the PvP medallion trinket, plus bonus of faster rep gain for less grinding!

I'm Draenei. I get an extra heal I almost never use. Bonus hit, umm... useful for smite perhaps. But too attached to ever change.

Dwarf racials not so great, but you could choose to have spinning buns when casting resurrection!

Night elves, worship Elune, not the light. Shadowmeld spell can be useful in PvP.
