I worship the flesh big time. Especially bacon.

Mm, bacon.

Haha, the first couple of seconds of this had me in tears.

Can't tell if he's serious or not. The lisp, the /srsbsnsliek stare and all. Smiley: lol

Then I saw the amazing circle jerk going on in the comments and sighed.

So I took the wife and daughter to see the new Muppet movie, and have decided that I imagine Mazra as the Swedish Chef. Decent movie, enjoyed it. Needed more Statler and Waldorf, but I think any show needs more Statler and Waldorf.

I'm not Swedish, dammit!

Also, while I was browsing the weird part of YouTube (trying to find another He-Man video), I stumbled across a band called Galaxy Farm. They apparently changed their name to Rags & Ribbons, but I found most of their songs under their Galaxy Farm name.

It's pretty good, in my opinion. I get the feeling I've heard some of their stuff before. The name Galaxy Farm rings a bell as well, but they don't seem to have gotten a lot of exposure, so I have no idea where I might have heard them.

Anyway, sample and sample (not going to imbed because huge post is huge like Xbox, etc.).

Brussels sprouts are awesome.

Went to see my SO over the weekend - made Asian style friend fish for him, people thought it was him providing the recipe because he's Asian. Hah. He's actually taken the recipe and made it again; it's the best because I got it from Bangladeshis and their national dish is fish curry! Smiley: smile

Sometimes it seems like my mum is accepting that I'm moving to Karachi - I explained to her that I need to apply for my visa before I can even start applying for other international placements, and she seems to understand that it's better for me to go there than to not get a placement at all. Plus I think I really convinced her that having worked in Pakistan is going to work in my favour once I'm looking for a real job because it shows flexibility and willingness to deal with the sorts of problems you get in poorer countries. I've told her this before, but she seems to be catching onto how I meant it just now. Which is good.
I also told her that I've got friends who are going to be there for the same time period and have offered to help me out. It's all starting to get better.

I'm still not sure if I should take her to the Islamic shop with me, there could be so many complications, but she really wants to come...

Swedish people don't talk like the Chef, either. Not exactly going for accuracy here. Smiley: tongue

Also, everyone join my army once or twice. You don't even have to actually play, just don't set a password and I'll do all the work myself. I'm trying to grow my little militia here.

True. His accent sounds more like Dutch or something.

There's a Jamaican restaurant 2 blocks from my apartment. I've never actually been inside it, but my dad loves to go there when he visits.

I think ginger beer is gross.

Who in their right mind would put ginger in a beer?

Or are we talking about Ginger Ale? Because that stuff is pretty good. Mostly because it's not ginger beer.

Grats, Protein! So, you're going to be all famous and stuff now?
