I know Chris-chan is autistic (according to himself), but still... someone, anyone, should have told him how sh*t works and, more importantly, does not work in the real world.
He most certainly looks like he's got a mental handicap so that doesn't count. It's not pathetic if he honestly just doesn't know better and/or simply can't grasp how the world works.
So assuming he's Autistic he looks like he's only barely falling in the high functioning category (because at least he can communicate, more or less) but he's not really living in the same world as we are.
Fine! Why is it you're allowed to make fun of weird people until they get a diagnosis? It's like a diagnosis comes with a stamp of approval or something. If you see an overly obese woman, you can make fun of her behind her back, but the moment you learn that she's got an illness that causes her body to retain water, it's all hush hush. Shouldn't we make fun of everyone or no one? Consistency, dammit!
I remember last week, I was talking to a guy and I stumbled over some words, because I was tired as hell. He laughed and poked fun of it. I didn't know him that well, so I said that I had a speech impediment and thanked him for tearing open the emotional wound. He went ashen in a second. If it's that horrible to poke fun of handicapped, isn't it equally horrible to poke fun of someone who isn't handicapped? Do handicapped have more sensitive feelings than people who can't blame it on a disorder?
Just wondering out loud, in this age of equality and everything.
