My work was having a sale last weekend with all collector's edition video games being 50% off. They had Mists, and for half a second I thought about buying it and resubscribing. Actually, now that I think about it, what I should have done was bought a copy and sold it on ebay for like $200. Damn it.

I don't think I've ever beaten someone in a duel in WoW. My PvP skills are seriously lacking, but if I want competitive PvP, I play SC2.

Also, I self medicate with pot and good music. It's working well so far. I also don't remember the last time I had an Alcoholic beverage.

You forgot enhancement shamans for a while in vanilla, three-shotting people with crazy RNG windfury.

I remember playing with a shaman on my rogue that would just walk up to people, stormstrike, and they'd drop down, dead.

He was the first HWL on my server, IIRC. I kind of miss pre-battlegroup BGs, when you knew literally everyone on the other team and you'd play WSG for hours.

I also miss my T2-geared hemo-spec rogue who dominated with PvE gear in vanilla. I had CTS and Maladath and would just roflstomp people.

Good times! I started my Shaman after watching a Shaman in WSG with the Arcanite Reaper. If Windfury proc'd, you'd instagib people. Of course, when it didn't proc, you were like a melee Hunter without the pet.

So I went and bought a new laptop today and I'm ionstalling MoP rioght now.
Seems to be taking forever, 40 minutes in and 1.9% done.

PvPing with a hunter in BC was fun. Popping out of shadowmeld and mowing down clothies is addicting and what not. Probably still is.

I've thought about going back too, but not right now. Too soon perhaps. Either I played the game too long, or they dumbed it down too much, maybe both. If you get to the cap and can count on one hand the number of times you died outside of a battleground there's a problem. Just makes for very painful leveling.

Ironicly, that's the funny thing about SWTOR for me right now. They ripped off WoW to such a degree you feel like you are playing WoW 5 years ago, only with dialog options, lightsabers, and plenty of graphics bugs.

Orc hunters are the only hunters.

So yeah no, not an actual reunion, just Dave Grohl & friends playing a song for Dave's new movie or something.

Everyone knows Blood Elf Hunters are the bestest Hunters!

Looking at his gear, I'm reminded of how many hours I clocked to deck out my Druid, Shaman and Hunter, not to mention the Paladin and Warrior. Having to level up five more levels and grind all that gear again... ugh. I think I'll stick with the Monk for now.

Maz named his druid Pawsome at some point though, he gets bonus points for that.

Edit: And I usually get my names from music. Fr my Diablo characters they're Aeth (no band but not very original :P), Nepenthe (Opeth), Abigail (priest's old name, also the band Abigail Williams), Asator (Amon Amarth), Nausea (Just a word but got the idea from At The Gates), Karelia (Opeth again) and some random stuff...

There is/used to be a druid on Kazzak with the name Sighclone as well. He pretty much only played PvP.

We're talking about hunters and PvP? There is only one option. Human.

"Stewpid" was pretty much a name I chose because of luls. His pet's name is "Irwith" as in "I are with." As a BE Hunter, you need a goofy name.

My Monk's name is Memortine, which is a play on Memento mori, which is Latin for "remember death" or "remember your motality," and morte, which is French for death. I feminized it with the '-ine' ending, because the character is female. It sounds better if you pronounce it with an exaggerated French accent. Memorrrrtinn. And I know what you're thinking, but the name was originally used for a Necromancer and a Priest. I just kind of like it and thought it had a unique... something.

Anyway, I have a hard time naming characters, because I want all my characters to be named Mazra, especially my main character, which changes from time to time. That's why my Druid is named Mazra. My male characters in GW2 are all named Mazra-something. My character in EVE Online is Mazra. Mazra just doesn't work as a female name, but I wanted to keep the M. It also helps that Memortine is shortened 'Mem' by most people, which brings back memories of when I played my Hunter (before the faction change). His name was Memitim back then, but people shortened it to Mem as well. Memitim is a Hebrew name for angels of death and destruction.

I have a thing for bombastic names. Except Mazra. Had no idea 'Mazra' was an actual name for anything, let alone an area in World of Warcraft. Came up with the name long before I ever heard of WoW, but now everyone wants to be like me.

I want to raid, but that would involve leveling up on NA servers, and there's not enough drugs in the world to get me to level another character.

Hey, this expansion is actually fun.

This is true. I enjoy this expansion much more than any bar TBC.


I can't really play anything but MMOs now. I tried to play Assassin's Creed 3, but it's too linear (it feels really odd to say that). I enjoy doing my own thing and exploring, and you can't really progress in AC3 unless you follow the story, which they managed to make insanely stupid, and I'm a huge fan of the AC franchise. I probably need to put in more hours and get farther, but right now it's just yawn-worthy.

I'm going to see The Hobbit tonight.

Also, I'm loving WoW again. Leveling up with a friend, having a laugh, a few beers and all that. life's good.

BH is awesome. I wish I'd stumbled across the class before I spent all my time leveling up those other painful classes. Mercs still have issues in PvP, from what I've heard, but I enjoy(ed) it. It's kinda like playing a squishy, which is odd, because the class has heavy armor (just no survivability).
