Well, good night tonight.

Did 10 man ToC right before the raid and got lots of fun feral gear, also downed the new boss.

Did 25 man ToC and downed the new boss in that.

Proceeded to go to Ulduar to attempt 25 man Flame Lev with 4 towers. 3 shot that encounter for the first time ever.

Then I went to the 5 man ToC and geared up my dk with like 5 new pieces.

I got new boots though!

Edit: Totally forgot to mention this.

So we have this aussie feral druid in my guild who is cool ****. He asked if anyone had the 20 arp cut at all and I said I could get it for him. So I went and bought the cut and then proceeded to cut him 6 arp gems.

Guess how much arp he has? 834 Armor Pen. It's sick as ****. He's almost at full 100% armor pen.

So I've probably asked this before already but how far do you need to go to reliably tank T8/9 content? I know my tank gear is getting better but the sheer quantity of 200s that I still have makes me nervous about it. I'd like to be able to confidently tell my raid leaders that I can tank if one doesn't show and not have it **** up the raid because we didn't have another willing volunteer.

Armory has tank gear atm.

Norellicus, I'd say you're ok for T7-T7.5, maybe first few bosses in T8. Your stam is good, but you're low on agility. You're about 4% low on dodge imo before getting any further in T8 and that low agility will mean low crit so low uptime on savage Defense.

Replacing the Polar Vest should be #1 priority, then the shoulders and bracers.

I judged your dodge by your armory, expecting you to take the two talents that combine for 10% dodge in bear form, which would put you at 36%. I like to stay at 40% as a minimum for tanking T8 and higher raids.

You can see where my stats are in the posts above.

HP and dodge are the priority, then expertise, then hit imo. The best way to get dodge though is agility, which will increase your crit to help keep SD up.

Warriors and their lack of proper threat reduction is annoying the hell out of me, especially when paired with an Arms Warrior. Those guys just love Bladestorm, especially as an opening move after building up rage through Charge. Swipe can only do so much.

The most frustrating part is that you can't just tell them to watch their threat, because they'll counter it by telling you to increase your TPS.

Seriously hate some people.

I got my priest frm level 52 to level 60 today. And spend 700g on keeping my profs up-to-par.

Which means I get a lot of time with the druid tomorrow for dailies, because now I need flying. I don't think I've ever been so excited to play a different class.

I really just wanna be level 80.

Upgraded some of my tank pieces. Picked up Belt of the Twilight Assassin and Shard of the Crystal Forest

That, folks, is the reason people don't like hunters.

But it's a weapon. It's basically the one slot that's itemized so outrageously well that an upgrade should be drastically noticeable, even to the players who have absolutely zero skill (particularly feral with their FAP). Hunters don't use weapons for this purpose and I really feel that unless it's a bow or gun, it should be considered a level between main spec and off spec for them. I only roll for a weapon on my hunter when I'm sure no one else wants it.

Lupine Longstaff. I'll say this about the staff, for a marks hunter it's actually really good. Arp = aimed shot love.
