Ok, I just really really had to gloat. This might seem arbitrary to some of you but according to Warcrafter my guild is now ranked in the top 1000 of the us guilds. 847th to be exact.

Like I said this might be minor to some of you, but I think of all those guilds out there and it feels amazing to be ranked that high. A pure sense of accomplishment for myself and my guild.

So how does Warcrafter gather it's information? It has maybe 5 people in my guild with a gear score, everyone else is blank.

Go to your guild, then just start clicking on everyone. It will update them with their gear score.

#691 of ranked US guilds. I imagine there are a lot of guilds that aren't ranked, given that it doesn't track people that don't use Warcrafter. I'm also mildly curious how they figure your guilds PvE score.

Yeah, that site is a little bit dodgy like that. My guild wasn't ranked at all till I went there.

GuildOX seems much more realistic. My guild is doing particularly well with 10man achivements :)

So I finally dropped LW and picked up Engineering...

Haste gloves are so ******* sexy. 38% haste when I pop a potion and them at the same time. 1.7 cast time with nature's grace. Now I want to see what hero does to it.

On Warcrafter it shows me as being the only guild member so ya...

The Drunks are still holding up on GuildOX but unless the slackers can pick it up so we can get into new stuff and start doing hardmodes in Uld me thinks it wont last.

Apollyon #4 for the 10 man progression. They're on Algalon now with all hardmodes except 0 keepers down.

Hopefully they keep my spot tonight for 25 man ToC and Ulduar. I haven't raided in a 25 man in awhile and I really really really really really really really want to test out the new eclipse in a 25 man setting.

Morning.

So has anyone used the raid extender thing yet? After Monday's raid while me and one of my officers were drinking at a bus stop and talking about the week's raid experiences, we were strongly considering it for this weeks raid. To really force people to learn some new fights and hopefully down Yoggels.

The raid group right now is very confusing. We spent like over an hour on Hodir then one shot Thorim and Freya, and they were new fights for many people. Mimi is a learning process, I am willing to make people smash face for a night where as my buddy isn't of that mind set. I know General will be the same way and am imagining Yoggster will be as well. Maybe the raid just sucks at staying alive.

Anywho, I have to actually start working so party on Wayne.

We've used it once or twice. Only one person has to extend and as long as that person is the raid leader, then when the rest of the people get in, they will be asked to be saved to the saved instance.

Yogg can suck my nut.

I wish I could copy myself, our best tank and our best healer and just go in there and nuke his stupid ***.

Stupid Arpee server. Fail me

In my guild it is me and my arena partner plus like 3 maybe 4 DPS that are strong raiders. We have an OT that is good but not very reliable to raid weekly. A few heads are showing signs of promise but still get caught with their tongues on the glass sometimes.

The last Hodir kill, which took way too long, only worked because we walked everyone through it in vent as it was happening. People still died but me, my priest and the last DPS alive, was either the mage or the OT guy I forget, knew the fight. We 3 manned him from ~25%.

My guild hasn't even set foot in Ulduar since the Coliseum opened. Most of us were mostly geared from Uld 25 anyway having had Yogg on farm for a couple of months. Freya, Thorim, Mimiron & Yogg hard modes were giving us some grief and I would like to keep trying them, but some members are sick of Ulduar and don't want the pain of wiping on hardmodes (which is why the officers are taking this time to do some recruiting so we have enough dedicated raiders ready for Icecrown.)

Instead, all members have been doing 10 & 25 each week and doing the daily heroic every day to farm the emblems of triumph. Alts have been doing extra 10 mans as well and this week we are going to put through a 2nd 25man group through coliseum.

The loot in the reg 5man, heroic 5 man, 10 man and 25 man are all amazing. A lot of the 10 man loot is better than even the hard mode Ulduar stuff!

My shoulders are from ten man ToC and they're better than most everything out of Ulduar.

Plus, they're itemized correctly. No spirit, haste AND crit. It's straight amazing.

I did get to raid last night which was good. We were in Ulduar cause some of our good people didn't show up and I found out that during hero, I pop my gloves and pot to come to a grand total of.... 1.3 second cast starfires. It's sick. I also found out that my two week break from raiding has made me rusty and I'm definately in need of some more practice.

Not exactly raid clearing news, but I finally hit 2k spellpower unbuffed as resto, so that was a nice little goal I'd been working towards.

I was a little miffed after the OMFGNERFZMANA!!!juan! patch that I still didn't need to really worry about mana, so went ahead and stacked SP mostly

Thorim 25 hard mode down last night. We had bad luck with buffs the first few attempts, then everything worked out for us the last time and we beat the timer with about 20 sec to spare. BTW, 8k deeps is fun. Gonna try one-tree Freya tonight, then general. 3 keeper Yogg again too, because our GM managed to fail at throwing Val'anyr last time.

Edit: typo

Out of mild curiosity, if you throw Val'anyr and then wipe, do you lose it? >.>a

I have absolutely no idea, but if that was the case.

I would soak up the tears of the resto druid who has the shards. I cannot stand the kid, at all.

According to http://www.wowwiki.com/Quest:Val%27anyr,_Hammer_of_Ancient_Kings The object you throw has a 20 second Cooldown, which verifies what I've heard from other people. So no, you don't lose the Fragments/Hammer if you wipe after you throw it.

Edit: I fail at links

Also, you have to be within about 20 yards of Yogg. He was healing the MT and stood bck and spammed his item macro whenever Yogg opened his mouth. But he didn't bother to read the error message he was apparently getting.

We've pushed ToC off to Sunday since that's theraid night with the lowest turn out. Hopefully people will show the f*** up for new content on Sunday.
