I just decided that our guild is short on tanks and healers so I'm gonna put away my leet dps spec/gear for awhile and go Tank/Resto dual spec. That'll give some of our guildies a chance to catch me on the dps meters :P

Gz Arex, busy night I see :) Our guild in 25 man are the slowest to loot in the world so we can't do so much in a night! So frustrating.

Well, I switched my bear to full tank spec and went out into the world to tank some heroics. Did fine, had a few different dps in and out and ended in H VH with 4 plate wearers and me.

Long story short, the warrior was riding my tail in threat the whole time and at one point had aggro on the boss. Which gave me the idea for Nith's Rule #2 for tanking - If a plate wearing class pulls a mob, he gets to tank it cause my mom taught me to share.

Yeah, those glare at me every time I look at them. Can't get upgrades to save my life though, never seem to make it further than spider wing in naxx with shout groups and the sheer badge cost of a chest token is just ughhhhh.

Just to check, are you basing the dodge stuff off my armory tooltips or running it through rawr/feralbynight? Cause in bear I think I have like 36% dodge. I dunno my crit. I know it's not a fix-all but I've got that darkmoon card coming soon too, so that'll at least give spurt boosts to my agility.

So are there rough values I should be looking at to be solid? You said health was good, dodge is 4% low, so if you were calculating in bear form I need to get to at least 40%...crit needs to be what, like 25%?

You can get the T8.5 chest with badges just from running heroics for a week, and the heroic daily for 2 weeks will get you the lowest tier 9 shoulder. And I believe Trial of the Champion has a decent bracer on heroic. If armory was working, I could give you some more suggestions for upgrades.

I top tps meters all the time.

I'm pretty god damn amazing because of it too.

On a side note!

Ran 10 man os zerg, with 5 alts! After a few fails people finally realized perhaps, mayhaps... We should be on our mains.

One attempt later with our mains the zerg was down, and to our wonderful great surprise...

I was hoping to avoid mindlessly grinding heroics but at this point I no longer have a choice, guild stopped running 10s on the weekend and I can only come sparingly to the 25s during the week...heroics here I come!

And bracers drop in reg ToC, I didn't notice until now. Unfortunately it seems getting anything in particular to drop there is impossible (I keep trying to run it for the Banner of Victory, and now I guess I'll have to do it yet still for the bracers!) :F

Lost Lupine Longstaff last night to a PuG Hunter. I died a little inside.

Its not so much that I hate the hunter, it's because we always seem to be a few short for 25 runs and PuGs always steal my gear. If it was someone from the guild Id be less crushed

Well my guild has too many melee so I've been made main healer spec, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

And I'm still freakin trying to get stupid anzu's reins to drop so i can take off all this fur and go into my feathers once again ;-; im tired of being a healer...

Unless they give me a shot at the legendary mace (needs 29 more) rawr

Alliance scum!! You are pretty safe from me :) I very rarely try to kill anybody other than people why try and kill me first. Partly because I am bad at PvP :)

I do love getting my low-level alt ganked by a higher level then logging over and killing them 3-4 times on my main, then logging back on my alt and waving at them :) It's pretty easy to tell it's me cause all my alts names are Rare...... (got ..bëast, ..bull, ..one, ..ss, ..death, ..dude, ..lord, ..bones, ..lock, ..bob)

I'm bored.

But, alas I cannot raid. I must spend time with the lady.

Same think happened to me last week because we had to PuG a few for our 25.

The guild now has ToC 10 and 25 man cleared.

I wasn't able to raid last night, but @#%^ing Misery's End, and the sp/mote of fire blow up thingy trinket dropped off anub. :(

Hey, at least I get to do hardmode versions tonight! Yay for wipes!

Our guild just lost our top dps to Aion. So my wife is scouring our friends lists looking for DPS that can do 3-4k for tonight's Ulduar run. For some reason good DPS are hard to find on our server... *shrugs*

We've lost our top 3 DPS in the last 2 months, feels like we're going backwards sometimes. On the plus side the new kitty in the guild looks like he's going to get a shot at some decent upgrades.

Also I got the mace off 10 man anubarak last night as well.

Best part... It's the perfect pally healing mace. And its mine.

And I redid my UI! Cleaned it up quite a bit got things really fixed up. I also started using 3d portraits in pitbull because they just look badass.

I'll try to remember to post a pic when I get home. I won't lie, when I get on wow I'm usually immediately going into a raid.

Btw, Fordragon Blades dropped last night for us.

Norel, I've been using Classtimers. I still get the issue where it doesn't track trauma, but it does track other druid's mangles. The only downside is it also tracks other druid's rips and rakes, which makes it harder to track your own. I haven't really messed with it to see if I can change that though. It's great for tracking buffs and debuffs because it gives you a separate set of bars for player, target and focus that you can set up anywhere. It's also very good for tracking drood healing HoTs.

Fordragon Blades dropped for our ToC10 group last night too. Our Deathtard MT got it lol. Our Warrior OT got the Dodge trinket with the armor proc that I can't remember the name of.

I got off work late and missed it all, but came in to dps on the first boss in ToC10 Heroic. We got to the wyrms a few times, but yeah...definitely hardmode. Didn't help it was after midnight and people were getting tired. After a few wipes we called it, but I'm definitely looking forward to clearing 10 regular every week to gear for 10 heroic.

As far as addons go, Feral by Night is the best I have seen by far. It is an updated version of facemauler by Nightcrowler from ElitistJerks who is the guy who has developed the Feral DPS simulator over there. It will track others mangle & trauma as well as your trinket procs, ooc procs, cooldowns etc. I follow it's suggested ability add-on usually (assuming the fight conditions suit) and have been doing pretty well. I hit 8.3k DPS on twins the other night and was only just beaten by our other feral on 8.4k


We had 10 attempts on heroic TotC last night but each time we had about 5 people DC or lag for the first 30 secs of the fight. This resulted in the worms turning up with the 1st boss still on about 5% health and chaos ensuing. In the end we gave up and will try again on another day. There are a number of people posting about similar problems on the technical support forums with the standard Blizzard response of deleting all your addons. We tried that, turning all graphics down, turning sound off etc etc etc. Sometimes it would seem to work, then on the next attempt it would be crap again /sigh
