I enjoy 'em the same as I enjoy anonymous rate-ups. It signifies I made someone react. Then again, the true intent for trolling is to solicit a reaction; Positive or negative is irrelevant. Rate up, rate down, I win either way. Smiley: grin

That's not to say everything I post is to troll, I've just gotten to the point where I can mix and match between the two without anyone realizing, and I'm apathetic to ratings of my nontroll posts.

I'm green/red colorblind, so it's anyone's guess at this point.

Also, yay for +0.01something!

Me too, so it's just up and down arrows, so I don't confuse myself. When I first started driving back home, I ran a couple red lights on one of my first lessons, because I wasn't thinking about it.

Also, what times do you play, because I'm wanting someone to run dungeons with on my mage, or hell, even having someone to talk to would be nice.

I've never rated you down. One of my life goals is to get you as "up" as possible, so it would be counter-productive.

But I know what you mean. Last week... or the week before... when I was posting in the Occupy thread about brutality, I had posts getting rated down literally the moment they went up. Like I'd refresh the page to see if I missed a reply, and my post would already have been rated down. Not possible that they could have read enough of the post to be justified in a rate down.

I'm not too surprised. That seemed like a debate that was going to result in rate-downs.

I don't care if they rated me down for disagreeing, as long as they replied. But rating down before you could possibly even see if my point was valid? That's just absurd and immature.

*snickers*

Actually Digg, Ice Lance is not the only spell that benefits from Fingers of Frost. In fact, IL is the last spell you want to use for FoF procs. Deep Freeze is the first priority, followed by a BF Frostfire bolt. FFB does a significant more amount of damage if you use it with FoF, and DF you can really only use it with FoF charges. Unless the target is frozen by something else, like the cauldron buffs in ZG.

I get what you mean about classes being broken. That's definitely an issue for some, but it's not like every class is like that. I really enjoy what they've done with shadow priests, and we scale really well with gear. I don't really have any complaints about any of the changes they've made since I started raiding with my priest. A lot of people didn't like the 4.2 changes, but honestly if you weren't skilled enough to handle multi-dotting before, the changes didn't even affect you.

Also, I just had some freaking awesome sex. The new boy toy is ridiculous amounts of fun. We actually wore ourselves out. ^_^

So in short: Spec arcane or get the **** out of the raid. Smiley: schooled

That is not anywhere near what I said. Smiley: tongue I raid as frost with no complaint from my RL or the other people in my raid group. I don't top the charts, but I'm also not as geared as most of the other people since I haven't been raiding with them that long. Well, actually I have topped the charts on the spider boss a couple of times. Didn't this week though. =x

Arcane is definitely the easier spec. By a lot.

That would pretty much get me to take it for raiding. Less time spent tracking CDs/procs etc means more brain power on the encounter. But as long as the raid lead is okay with it I'm not one to interfere. Smiley: smile

I think you're ignoring the "or equal to" part of what I said. Smiley: tongue Frost is just a lot more dependent on gear, stats, and player skill than Arcane is. There's a reason why so many people in the mage suggestion thread said "Make Arcane more fun/challenging to play."

I'm not, not at all.
But a spec that is a: easier to play and b: equal to or better than your current spec is one you should respec to for raids. No discussion possible in my opinion.
It's going to result in less ******* on your part because you don't have to think about your rotation, it's going to increase your dps because you can focus 100% on the fight at hand and as an added bonus, it'll make gearing up easier. Win win situation if you ask me.

Then again, I do not have and never had a preference for one spec over another and I don't understand why people think pushing buttons in one order is more entertaining than pushing buttons in a different order.
I get my fun from the fights, not from rotations/priorities and there's always still stacking buffs to maximize their effect throughout the fight (and not just the pile on top of bloodlust, everyone can do that) if you want to have to think a little about when you push buttons.

In short: There's no reason other than irrational clinging to a spec not to go with what gives you the most DPS.

I was never terribly picky about specs on my warlock, but there is a world of difference between Kitty and Lazr Chiken, or Enhance and Ele.

That's a little different, because those require regearing on a scale that isn't possible (or at least realistic).

I've been playing on/off while doing my internship, but come tomorrow I'll probably be on from around midday CET to whenever I go to bed.

My DK and Shaman aren't in the guild (since no one is on to invite me, boohoo), so add Citona and Tharkor to your friends list. I'll likely be on tomorrow afternoon on either of those characters, if not one of the alts in the guild.

And yeah, not having anyone to talk to is the depressing part. My DK is in a level 25 self-proclaimed social guild, with a million members give or take, but no one is saying a damn thing in guild chat.

I may, or may not, have squealed like a little girl. A lot. I also may, or may not, have a restraining order against me from aforementioned Gods individuals due to said squealing.
