Rain is fun and all until you have to cycle through the stuff.

But snow is prettier so there's that.

I never liked the rain until I walked through it with you.

Wind plus snow when it's not freezing enough for it to be proper snow is the very worst. It's near freezing but you can't wipe it off like proper snow because it'll be molten as soon as it hits you.

I once cycled 25km through that, cycling straight up against the wind to boot and I didn't have my gloves with me. My hands have never hurt as badly as they did then, they were practically frozen to my handlebars and holding them under cold water was like pouring boiling water over them.

Marching several miles in 120/48+ degree weather is no picnic either, especially when you're carrying 40 pounds plus of equipment and armor, and wearing fairly thick clothes. I'm not certain which weather I hate more from an objective standpoint, because I've never really spent much time in frozen weather. I mean, we've had 4+ feet of snow here, but I've always hid myself inside my home when that happens so I've never been in it. If I could have avoided the heat march I would have as well.

All the talk about how "we're destroying the world," reminds me of these weather patterns (along with tornadoes, hurricanes, etc) , and makes me think we're in the right and it's all in self defense.

That would be a prime reason to love the winter. Winter is pointless if there's no ice and/or snow.

I like snow, I don't like cold. Doesn't make sense, I know.

I don't mind the winter. Cool breezes and mid to low 70s is good weather. It does rain a lot though.

And I'd rather deal with wind than rain, wind just makes you go either slower or faster but it's no big deal either way. Rain is cold and wet and horrible.

I dunno. Saturday was pretty windy here, dry and windy. Spent all day out in and my lips are chapped and driving me nuts. Would have much preferred rain. Than again, I suppose if I couldn't stand the rain I'd probably move or something already.

I think part of the reason high winds terrify me is because I'm afraid of being blown away.

Deep down, and logically I know that. But fear is not logical.

Jesus Christ in a handbasket, I just passed out in a dream for the first time ever. That was unpleasant.

Had a dream which started out weird and got worse until it became a nightmare. I don't remember much from it, except that I was in a swimming pool at some point and I found a "madeupname" spider the size of a tarantula, colored blue and red and capable of walking on water. Some girl picked up the spider and wanted to show it to me, but I told her I suffered from arachnophobia, at which point the bitch decided to walk towards me while holding out her hand containing the spider. For some reason, I was unable to move backwards and the last thing that happened before I woke up was that she came close enough to open her hand and drop the spider on me. It was then I lost consciousness within the dream and woke up with a silent scream stuck in my throat and sweat pouring off me.

Man, I hate dreams that turn nightmare like that. One moment I'm hanging out in the pool with a chick and the next it's like The Ring and Arachnophobia mixed together in one.

Video game spiders are cartoony enough that I don't care.

Photos of real spiders, though... ugh. And real live spiders of all sizes just make me uncomfortable. Big ones scare the crap out of me. Physical contact with a big one is apparently the threshold where my brain can no longer deal with the stress and shuts down.

Hell, even thinking about the scene from the dream is enough to give me goosebumps and all. Being confronted by your biggest fear and being unable to do anything about it. Nasty experience. Good thing it was only a dream.

You should get a cat, when I see a spider I just pick up my cat and point him at the spider. Cat gets a snack, the spider is dead and I get some entertainment.


Also, if this list was accurate I'd be one of the best concert photographers in the world.

So many terrible compositions, technically bad photos and boring moments.

I don't know if its my biggest fear, but I can identify. I remember watching Joe Theisman getting nailed by LT and turning away after it happened thinking, "Nooooooooooooo!!!"

And then those sadists ran the replay.

I spent a year at a school for gymnasts and those guys had some nasty stories that made even me queasy.

Warning: nasty mental images incoming.

One of the guys there told me about this one time where they went to a tournament and some dude on the trampoline team landed the wrong way on his foot. He landed on the side of his right foot instead of on the sole and the impact caused his foot to bend up sideways and snap off at the ankle like a dry twig.

Then he showed me pictures taken immediately after the accident (for insurance).

So I got the new Pokemon game on Monday. I've proceeded to lose any free time I may have had other than when I went rock climbing last night.

I got 4 levels in Guild Wars tonight... And somehow I still feel like a slacker lol.

When told "you gotta catch 'em all", it means you really have to. I need to buy the new one..i guess it is out now -.o

Why would Theo be trying to pick up people at gay bars?

I had them all, then they came out with a new game and I didn't want to build my collection again. That's when it stopped for me.

Also, I am drinking beer that has been made with coffeebeans that have been eaten and shat out by civet cats.

That particular coffee, Kopi Luwak, is the most expensive coffee in the world. And Aeth is drinking a beer made out of it.
