I'm open to anything really, pick your favorites. I generally prefer ales or dark beers, and I'm a fan of hoppy beers, but I'll give anything a try.

I'd probably send a few different brews from half pints and possibly one or two brews from fort garry brewery as they are the local companies. If you're interested in anything specific from manitoba or canada let me know and I can try to acquire some.
Euhm, well.. I've got access to most Trappist beers here.
Westmalle double and triple are excellent, Chimay beers are great, Duvel is probably available near you, Gulden Draak is a strong dark ale and has added dragons, Rochefort is absolutely brilliant (but pricey) Hoeghaarden Grand Cru is also great, one of the best white beers.

And I'll go look around BeerAdvocate for Canadian beers I'd like to try. :3

Edit: Theoretically I could even get Westvleteren beers. Although that might take up to half a year to get. Smiley: tongue

So, who wants to do a beer trade with me? I'll send you some good local stuff, and you do the same in return.

Do you want some brazillian beers?
Some discriptions from an outsider that I most agree with + some of my own:

Quote:

* Antarctica: light American-style industrial lager, unspectacular, 5.0% abv.
* Antarctica Extra: reminds me of Miller's Icehouse. I gagged.
* Antarctica Extra Cristal: looked anemic and sickly pale in the bottle, so I skipped it...
* Antarctica Malzbier: watered down molasses in a bottle, cloying, sweet and very unbalanced, not enjoyable
(Added by Brisin:
* Antarctica Original: It's an ok beer. A little bit better than Antarctica, but not really something.
)
* Baden Baden: didn't try it (added by Brisin: some links here)
* Bavaria Pilsen: light American-style industrial lager, unspectacular
* Bavaria Premium: wonder what's "premium" about it...uninteresting too-light beer, reminds me of MGD. Not worth a second look.
* Bohemia Pilsen: Excellent example of a continental-style pilsner (compare to German pilsners like Bitburger or Dutch pilsners like Grolsch). Firm body with a definite noble hop aroma and flavor. A pleasant surprise for anyone who enjoys good quality pale lagers. 5.0% abv.
* Bohemia Escura: Best dark beer in Brazil. A very smooth, eminently drinkable dark lager with a firm malt signature and a near-perfect balance. Compare this to something like Germany's Kostritzer Schwarzbier. 5.0% abv.
* Bohemia Weiss: Nice! A true Bavarian style wheat beer that compares favorably to beers like Franziskaner or Schneider Weisse. Nose accentuates phenols over esters. Noticeable citric wheat signature. Cloudiness testifies to unfiltered purity. 5.6% abv.
(added by Brisin:
* Bohemia Confraria: Mixed reviews overall in the interwebs. One of my favourites, though.
)
* Brahma: light American-style industrial lager, unspectacular
* Brahma Light: no time to waste on light beers...didn't try it
* Brahma Extra: Extra boring maybe, that's about it.
* Brahma Malzbier: reminds me a bit of Mann's Brown Ale --- a rare southern English brown. But Brahma Malzbier is fortified with sugars and has more of a molasses edge to it, along the lines of Heineken Oud Broun. It's almost cloyingly sweet and not what I consider a particularly pleasant beer to drink. 3.7% abv
* Caracu: calls itself a "stout", but very sweet with a definite sugary edge to it and no real roast character, unfiltered with a very full body, 5.3% abv
* Cintra: light American-style industrial lager, unspectacular
* Conti: didn't try it (added by Brisin: never heard of it)
(Added by Brisin:
* Devassa: It's mostly overrated. Only good in this brand is the India Pale Ale.)
(Added by Brisin:
*Eisenbahn: This is my favourite brand here in Brazil. Its a microbrewer down south.
)
* Kaiser Pilsen: light American-syle industrial lager, unspectacular, reminds me of Schaefer (the one beer to have when you're having more than one --- of course I had more than one...)
* Kaiser Bock: low density for a bock, but surprisingly smooth with a good complex all-malt flavor (label claims no unmalted cereals nor sugars --- a rarity in Brazil)
* Kaiser Gold: a bigger version of Kaiser Pilsen with a deeper golden color, a little more drier on the palate with more hops, and more alcohol to boot (5.4% abv)
* Kaiser Summer Draft: a smaller version of Kaiser Pilsen with less color and less hops, seemed unbalanced to me (too much sweetness), 4.5% abv
* Kronenbier: didn't try it (a waiter in Curitiba told me it was low/no alcohol --- not sure if that's true, but I wasn't about to find out the hard way) (added by Brisin: yes, its no alchohol)
* Santa Cerva: bland, lighter-than-usual American-style industrial lager, reminds me of Corona and Sol, 4.0% abv, glad I don't have to drink this swill every day
* Nova Schin: light American-style industrial lager, unspectacular, supposedly the oldest brand name in Brazil, but not always easy to find in the south
* Skol: light American-style industrial lager, unspectacular, 4.7% abv.
* Skol Beats: yuck-o! tastes exactly like Bud Ice --- truly horrendous stuff, 5.2% abv, tried it in Sao Paulo where it seems to be very popular, though Lord only knows why... (added by Brisin: I wholeheartedly agree. People love this type of beer over here, but it's really, really bad)
* Xingu: been years since I've tried this in the big bottles sold in the U.S., but this is a pretty decent dark beer, along the lines of a tropical style stout with its substantial sweet flavor. Widely available in cans/bottles, but don't think there's a chopp.

Minus Kaiser Gold, yes. Not that it's bad, but I'm not a fan of the taste of it.

Most people from outside I talk to do like Kaiser Bock. It's been a while I last saw in the supermarket, though. It's probably not marketed for Rio de Janeiro, since they market it like a "winter beer" (their own words) and there's no such thing in Rio.

Edit:
There's another one I totally forgot about, called Itaipava. I mostly forgot it because I think it's really bad. But I have a friend married to an American from Chicago and it was the one he liked more. Dunno why.

I don't have any specific wish list, just pick out ones that you like.

My list to send without a specific request is

1) stir stick stout - dark beer, chocolate and coffee flavours

2) little scrapper - an IPA, very nice

3) phil's pils

4) the gay festival beer, because why the hell not

5) fort garry dark

6) more little scrapper

something like that.

I would actually have to check how to send beer oversea here from Brazil. I dont even know if its possible or what. Should be, but who knows...
If I can, I will try and send to you some of my favourites. Maybe 3 or 4, should be enough.

My dad has mailed me meat previously.

Also, I had the Canadian post/import law printed out a while back, I clearly remember that you aren't allowed to send rocket launchers to Canada. That was awesome.

Generally the only (English speaking) country that is really peculiar about meat is Australia.

One of the soldiers in my command is from Tennessee. Not the smartest bulb in the knife shed, but a pretty nice kid. Anyway, his parents used to send him TONS of freshly made beed jerky when we were deployed. I mean, it was a biweekly occurrence. Turkey, chicken, cow, deer. Might have even had fish and squirrel at one point, that kid's family was nuts about the stuff.

Anyway, I can't see it being a problem as long as its sealed properly.

Seems like there were some Bear changes in PTR regarding scaling:
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/2723732#blog
Quote:

Feral
Bear damage abilities were scaling too fast with higher gear levels compared to other tanks, so the following balance changes have been made. All the numbers cited are for level 85 characters; numbers will be lower for lower-level characters.
Faerie Fire (Feral) base damage has been raised to 2950, up from 679. Attack power scaling has been decreased to 10.8%, down from 15%.
Maul base damage has been raised to 35, up from 8. Attack power scaling has been decreased to 19%, down from 26.4%.
Pulverize weapon damage percent has been decreased to 60%, down from 80%. Damage per Lacerate application has been increased to 1623, up from 361.
Mangle (Bear) weapon damage percent has been decreased to 190%, down from 260%. Bonus damage has been increased to 3306, down from 754.
Swipe base damage has been increased to 929, up from 215. Attack power scaling has been decreased to 12.3%, down from 17.1%.
Thrash initial base damage has been increased to 1464, up from 339. Initial damage attack power scaling has been decreased to 13.8%, down from 19.2%. Periodic base damage has been increased to 816, up from 189. Periodic damage attack power scaling has been decreased to 2.35%, down from 3.26%.
Lacerate initial base damage has been increased to 3608, up from 2089. Initial damage attack power scaling has been decreased to 5.52%, down from 7.66%. Periodic base damage has been increased to 69, up from 16. Periodic damage attack power scaling has been decreased to 0.369%, down from 0.512%.
Natural Reaction damage reduction has been increased to 9/18%, up from 6/12%.

The funniest part is they will have to adjust the numbers again, my guess is for T13 at the latest. Then again when T14 is on the horizon if not mid-tier.

Still waiting for the change to Cat scaling. I hear Cat DPS is in the Bottom 3 around T11.

Personally, I got raped by an Arms Warrior in blues. Only time I clearly pulled ahead was when I popped Berserk and mashed Swipe on AOE trash. Guess the Swipe nerf will rectify that mistake!

What about small values of 1?

Also, it was about cricket. You'd think I'd know the rules by now, what with learning about it for this bloody exam and all the Pakistanis I know...

I suppose small values of 1 would give a different result.

0.5 + 0.5 = 1
1.4 + 1.4 = 2.8

I want to kill my teacher for being so ******* awful at teaching. Also for wasting my time.
We went to a city nearby today for architecture photography. In the first 3 hours we drank coffee and ate fries, then we made some lame as **** panorama photos and that was it, I didn't learn anything at all and just got bored.

Although it was sort of entertaining that me and a classmate were mocking his intelligence right in front of him and he didn't pick up on it.

Either way, no school until next Friday so I'm going to enjoy a few days of doing nothing at all.
