Well my pali is only 40 but...

I was in BG's at 39 as a Prot pali, and we were heading to Stables I had 3 people behind me... until we reached the break between stables and LM. (aparently we weren't on the same page, as they went to give extra defense for the 1 alliance guy that was bugging them.)

So now I am almost to Stables and I use my camera to find I am all alone... "Oh noes." I tell myself, because I am already to close to stables to back off... already committed.

I run in to great about 5 alliance people. first thing I threw on was a BoF due to a hunter combo that was trying to keep me slow as possible, dropped a rogue in 3 hits and that rogue was mush. I turned to the warrior this will be a tough fight. Put on devine shield and went to town, he died before my shield wore off.

But the hunters were the problem... The couple of hunters there took me down about a minute later. But not before I got a few good licks in on them... ran OOM. /cry

I wasn't "Twinked" so to say. I just did my time looking for gear that would do the best I could have for that bracket.

I was happy with the achievement needless to say.

Yea I know a warrior that solo'd it, but he had to bring at least 3 shields. As a paladin you probably want to bring about 5 lol.

Guild FINALLY had the confidence to let me tank Nightbane (fact there was no Warrior helped, lol), and it was nearly flawless. He resisted my Exorcism after the first flight phase and our Hunter failed to put up his Misdirection, so a healer pulled aggro and died, but after recovering quickly from that we got the dead up and proceeded to waste him. <3 Fear Ward even though it was only available for about half the fears (one Priest), but all in all wasn't as tough as I expected it to be. Still no damn shield though ...

Also some of our guild have been going into SSC/TK with an end-game raiding guild on our server recently, and this guild was extremely impressed by the level of skill our members possess. They proposed a merger, and for the most part, we accepted. This'll be a great opportunity to learn and grow alongside some who have cleared Mt. Hyjal and half of BT. Really looking forward to stepping it up and showing what I can do!

I forgot to post when I got it, but I got my T6 legs, which gives me my 2pc bonus, which is just freaking sick. another 5% crit to all holy lights??!?! My mana efficiency just shot through the roof on fights with spike damage.

Hit level 50 yesterday and ran from Shattrath to Area 52 to get my engineering training. Currently 338 Engineering trying to get my Goblin Rocket Launcher before I level up and going to get my Tankatronic Goggles as soon as I A. Get to 55, or B. Patch 2.4 hits whichever comes first (so I can get a Primal Nether).

An epic day for Hankthetank. T5 gloves, T5 legs, kited a Fel Reaver to Shatt again cause I was bored...


Oh yeah and I solo'd Garr.

so, over the last week i've managed to get A'dal's Command, Libram of Divine Judgement, and then today my guild got Chestguard of Exile in heroic bot and decided my ret would be the toon that could best make use of it in the guild :-D I'm pretty excited about how Camila is starting to get geared now. Also have a tanking set for her w/ 474 defense (w/o being prot so that'd be 494 defense whenever i need to respec) and almost 60% avoidance. Getting close to being able to tank heroics and kara in addition to DPS and heal (w/ muralimohan). Also we downed attumen a lot faster this week and our healer got the healing gloves he drops. still didn't get moroes or maiden down, but we got closer. shooting for at least downing those 2 next weekend.

I hit 70 this morning :D
and I now have my first flying mount, just have to go around to all the new places to do stuff.

Ran Gruul's Lair today and our guild has expanded enough that we could muster 23 people for the run, all members but a couple were trialists.

Wiped 3 times on HKM before we got the pulling right. I was one of two healers on the MT and I put some heals on the mage tank as well.

Then Gruul himself. The first attempt, I struggled to find some clear space to avoid getting shattered too badly and then died on about grow 8. Second attempt was much better and I managed to get a lot of healing done with little damage to myself. With only 23 people, some of whom had connection problems, we got him on grow 18.

I won the T4 leggings and I've slapped some golden spellthread on them already so I'm feeling pretty chipper.

Had a great couple days of tanking. Solo tanked everything in kara past opera(druid OT had to leave midway thru) with 0 wipes. Ended up getting the gloves(off maiden), legs(off curator) and then grabbed the 75 badge chest after the run. So 3 significant upgrades this last kara run. Still no t4 gloves tho:(, oh well, maybe next week.

*and 27% dodge with Kings on if i want it, lol. Wasn't planning on tanking with that much, just messing around with Outfitter and had it build me a max dodge set from current items just to see how high i could get while still remaining uncrittable(also happens to be uncrushable too, around 106 avoidance i think).

Solo tanked opera event which was Rom and Jul. OT went down during the Rom phase. The 2 healers had a lot to do with. Never lost hate once I picked them both up.

Had my first Kara run last week. Downed Huntsman, no wipes there had trouble with Moroes. After 3 wipes there we quit for the night. A few days later we went in again and downed him. Really happy for that, then we tried Maiden. Wow couldn't get her past 20%. Trying again tonight but going to Opera event.

No good drops for me yet but Im hoping for something tonight
