I managed 4,619 DPS on Patchwerk tonight with no Shaman in the raid. New personal record on that fight.

1790ish rating and with that my set shoulders. It's about time after having been on 1760 rating for like a month.
Now if I manage to get rid of the rest of my blues PvP might be fun again. Just a shame I need to farm BG's to do so.

So I came back from my 4 month WoW break a few days back and everytime I try and play on Kazzak, but no other server, I get enormous lag.
Does that count as an achievement?

After spending two years with casual raiding I left my dear <BlackAdder> guild (Ally #22 guild) to get some more serious stuff done in the #5 ally guild on the server. Will be interesting indeed.
i did the same thing last year, left my servers 20th guild, to go to the 4th. raided with them until illidan then realised i missed my 20th guild and moved back. i hate causal but i love them :D hope you enjoy hardcoring as much as i did for those few months.

I'm guessing that was what a bodhi-wow-geekgasm sounds like IRL.

Ulduar first 2 bosses down after i (casual dude with only 2 evenings of playtime + 2 hours on a wednesday) had to school the people raiding with me (my cousins guild with dudes who play every evening) on how to kill the bosses. Just obtained every single piece of loot in a VoA PuG. Deadly boots and belt from emalon, and hateful chest+legs from archavon. I was the only rogue. So now i have 130 energy and a mutilate glyph i'm blowing up pretty much anything in a single stunlock.

Your AP is weak.
Hmm. Drop some pvp gear/enchants and fill in with PvE stuff? I haven't been 80 long, so i like the honor gear for the ease of obtaining it. I could pretty easily get raid spots on ze rogue and pick up AP and crit heavy gear.
Why the **** would you ever gem/enchant resilience or stam?
No amount of resilience or stam will make you not get 3 shot without your cooldowns; better to be able to drop someone in Overkill rather than to have to draw the fight out and lose regardless.
Rogues have NEVER gemmed resil/stam. We've gotten it via gear, but it's never been worthwhile to gem/enchant for, ever.

Ahh, i didn't know that. I had a vague image of surviving stunlocks, hammers and making a comeback but now that you mention it that only ever seems to happen when i've already used every cooldown. Whatevs, my main is a JC so it ain't an expensive mistake.

Nah, you pretty much trinket CS, vanish and CS/rup the other rogue.
Trinket HoJ and Vanish/CloS Repent if you're pro.
I also pretty much always pop FoK when I open on a healer if I can't see a rogue. If I drop a rogue out of stealth, vanish and CS him.
Have to be extremely fast in PvP as a rogue now.

Dinged 80 last night, ran a few Heroics, Namlaks' dropped.
Tonight, ran 2 bosses in Naxx in my pitiful gear thanks to some friends and got some epic wrist piece and then t7 shoulders. Pretty cool for a second night at level 80.
Also, tried to do 2s today with a pally friend (who's main is rated 2k+ every seaon) I was leveling with. Obviously not the best comp but it doesn't matter when you have 15k HP and almost no resil. We went 3-10. The matches we won were against players with much better gear than us.. and they were TERRIBLE.
Rated 141... Never been below 1500. It's seriously a hopeless endeavor with this gear. Whatever, really surprised to have won any matches at all.

If he's ret for the 2s, I don't see how you don't instagib like 90% of teams.

The only rogue achievement I have is, that I beat an arms warrior in full hateful/deadly gear. I personally only have the 80ish resilience you get from the level 80 trinket. I kinda quit playing my rogue to play my druid, which is wayyyyy more geared than my rogue.
I only beat the warrior once, though. He is pretty good, but I got lucky. Now, we are going to do 2s together. Me on my druid, of course.
