FOR ALL PALLIES!!Follow

#1 May 05 2007 at 9:58 AM Rating: Decent
Hi, I have seen alot of pallies with alot of different builds and even more opinions, I just thought I would throw mine in the mix... I have used this build for everything, tanking, and PvP... Its the ultimate build for me. tell me what you think. I have ran shattered halls over 20 times now, very few wipes. and alot of compliments on my agro, it helps to have +330 to spell damage and 11592 armor. I`m currently wearing a couple BG reward items, and alot of quest reward items still.

I agree... need better gear and I prefer a prot/holy build but that is my opinion. I created a paladin to be a healer in plate, and then fell in love with tanking and dealing with 5 mobs at the same time. So much fun...

You should link your armory build so we can see what exactly you have. 330 spell damage is a bit on the high side for a prot tank. I'm surprised that as a tank you chose to forgoe +5% parry and spell warding in favor of imp concentration aura and vindication.

Like the previous poster, I'm surprised you put two points in Pursuit of Justice instead of something useful like Deflection or Spell Warding.

IMO Vindication would be a nice addition to a tank, and if I only had enough talent points, that's where I'd have headed next =/ I agree it's odd to pick up Imp Concentration Aura though. PoJ looks like it might just have been filler points to get to Eye for an Eye and Imp Ret Aura, but if so I would definently have taken 2/5 Deflection instead, probably 4/5 Deflection and left off Eye for an Eye. It's more of a PvP talent than a good tanking talent.

Also surprised to not see Guardian's Favor in that build.

I took a good balance, I aimed at being a good tank, but also usefull in the pvp aspect of the game with out having to change my spec. I can pvp without any worries, and tank really very well. I have a couple pieces of gear that I wear other than it shows in the armory, It just shows the gear I was wearing from killing spiders.

heres my armory build
