Admittedly, this happened a while back. Pretty much when there became a second rank for seal/judgement of justice.

I'm hoofing it from Menethil to Badlands because I'm fairly cheap, and in Loch Modan there's a level... 43, if I remember properly, warlock killing the lowbies in the town I can't recall the name of. So, since I'm on my nifty chestnut mare (It looks better, imo) I head over to the town and decide to get rid of the guy.

I'm in my low fifties, so it really isn't a fair fight, and earlier I'd looked at the rank two judgement of justice and had read the added effect was it slows the movement speed of the opponent to the paladin's fastest on foot.

I show up, smack him around a little, and he tries to mount up and run away. I have my cold-forged hammer from AV, and mounting up and giving chase (Pursuit of Justice, both points) I hop off my horse when in melee range and have to do some quick thinking. So, I stun him, get in a hit or two, but I'm on foot, so he could make another attempt at a quick getaway.

So, I slap my rank two JoJ, and suddenly he's riding as fast as my +8% run speed, leaving me able to beat on him while he's on the horse and trying to get away.

Now..! This was rather unfair, seeing as I had the level to go to AV in the "Everyone's *****" bracket, but admittedly it felt kind've nice, having smashed in a forsaken's skull while he was on his felsteed and couldn't move quickly enough.
I didn't camp, but I stayed in Loch Modan just in case the localdefense channel lit up again.

Just a minor rant, because I felt like sharing with you lot. ^.^

Judgement of Justice Rank 2, is full of so much win, it is incomprehendable.

Or something.

Also, easy to run from gankers after you get last rank of Hammer of Justice.

Judgement of Justice R2 > Stun > run away untill out of combat > Epic mount + Crusader > Profit

Just a little precision:

JoJ makes the target unable to move faster than 100% his own base speed. So with your Pursuit of Justice 8% boost you were actually running faster than his mount was going. :P

This also means that when used on a naturally fast mob (don't have any examples but I think some of the kitties actually run faster than you on foot) it won't be very useful. It's nice to prevent mobs who have a Sprint-like ability from taking advantage of it. Not sure what it does with Charge-like abilities though.

And BTW, it was supposedly fixed a few patches ago. It should now be considered as a snare so Druids could shift out of it, Gnomes could use Escape Artists and some classes could use their PvP trinket. I believe even freedom potions would work. Still, most people won't think about that and it's an ***-kicking skill. :P

I use crusader aura to catch up to guys all the time, hit them with Judgement of Justice and put down as much smack down on them as I can before they realize what is happening and they dismount. By then they try to just Fear/Root/Freeze etc so they can get away. I can usually bust through it and then catch up and attack them again and finish them off.

Oh and nothing involving 2 points in Pursuit of Justice 'kicks ***' it is a complete waste of talent points that could be replaced with a simple enchant or pair of BG boots.

I wasn't saying Pursuit of Justice was part of the original asskickery, but in my honest opinion I'm kind've fond of it.
For the things to increase your run/mounted speed without it, it saves up those slots for things other than, and that way you can get more use from it.
I honestly prefer having things like +stamina to my boots for that increased survivability, instead of having to get something just so I could move faster/as fast as whoever I'm trying to skullcrush. ^.^

Get the PVP boots and add a stamina enchant to them. Use those two points elsewhere.
