Pvp trickFollow

I was grinding near Shattrath when I equipped for the first time a dagger in the offhand and an axe. The low lvl of my dagger skill is making my attack to be dodged many times and overpower is almost always up. So I thought it could be a nice trick to use in Pvp. I think the weapon skill can't lvl in pvp, am I right ?

What do you think about it ?

that i think is GENIUS! beacuse if your arms you can make it so 50% of the time you crit with it but the onlny down side is you better have a really good on hand wep

Considering that Overpower is based on weapon damage and the difference in weapon damage between a 1H and a 2H is pretty large, you will only be gimping yourself.

You can get Imp. Overpower without being full Arms... I never leave it behind except when I go Prot, it's one of my favorite talents.

It's interesting but not worthwhile, since while you gain a fair amount of free crits you lose a _lot_ of damage from a) Dual Wield miss penalty on the main hand weapon (+19% miss chance) and b) From getting no real damage output from your offhand, except for the dodges to feed MH Overpowers.

Plus you'll skill up the offhand eventually. =p I do support using a _fast_ offhand for this purpose because you'll get more OH Dodges to proc MH Overpowers, but each to their own.
