Is blade twisting worth getting?

No.

Blade Twisting is THE most useless talent a rogue has. Crippling poison has a better effect and proc rate.

What weapons are you using? If you're using daggers there's no real reason to get agression. It's a sword/fist/mace (IE: sinister strike build) tallent). In any case, there's not much of a reason to get blade twisting. I know there are some combat mace rogues that like it for PvP, but in general, it's not a very strong tallent.

Just in case you don't know, the effect is the same as when a mob dazes you when you're trying to run away. It just slows you down. I find I put my extra point into increasing weapon skill by five points. So it can't be relied on, not good for escaping or catching runners either, as we have plenty of other options for that.

Put the talent points somewhere else, imo.

Something about that doesn't mesh. If you're picking between agression and blade twisting right now, at your level, you're missing other more important tallents. You need 25 points in combat to get those tallents. Any backstab build also needs 8 in assassination for imp BS, and 5 in sub for opportunity. If you don't have these 2 tallents maxed out already, those are the places where you should spend your next points. Build should look something like this at level 48. At that point, you could either choose to go to AR in combat, or to 4/5 lethality in assassination. Personally, if you want to level with daggers, I think going with a seal fate build would be a lot easier on you. Combat daggers is more of a raid build that you use for high end raiding when you can just stand behind the mob. It actually has a bad rep for grinding/solo play. Most combat dagger rogues (including me when I play said spec) swap in a MH sword to farm. I can't imagine it being much fun to level with. You are using backstab as your primary attack correct? If you are using SS you mise well just swap to swords/maces to level.

I'd recommend shying away from combat daggers for leveling purposes. Your best attack isn't usable most of the time, and when it is, it's only through the use of another ability. If it's what you truly love to play, though, have at it. Just know that you'll be doing better damage with a sword build.

even though you're daggers aggression isn't worthless. when your perfect attack sequence gets ruined you're probably gunna go frantic and slam lots of buttons. sinister strike is a nice button b/c it's relatively cheap constant damage. it still does decent damage for the energy, 40--with talents-- as opposed to 105 (gouge) or 85 (ks)
