A mutilate build without improved poisons is lackluster(It looked like a PvP build, so I took out Imp BS). Your build should look something more like:

or

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/rogue/talents.html?3053001050521025210513000000000000000000000002500530002000000000000

The latter build being geared more for PvP. The first will give you a higher sustained DPS(raid situation).

-You're usually better off to sticking with max 41 points to one tree

-There is no reason to have improved backstab AND mutilate. With mutilate, you will virtually never find a reason to use backstab.

That is a debateable point(the latter). The ONLY reason being for farming elementals that can't be poisoned, where BS does more damage than mutilate.
