I'm nervous.

Since my guild decided to start Kara this saturday.

So, respec prot I go, and we plan on having me as the MT.

Please review, if I am capable of doing this pure mitigation wise. I've read as much info on Kara as I could find.

I will have either the Major Defense to bracer or Fortitude by the time we go in the door. Which defense will add a little more parry/dodge. Or I could go HP... I'm leaning towards HP atm. Also considering Sta to shield instead...

I can put on about 125 more shield block value, which puts my shield block up to 27.xx% and drops my parry/dodge by 1.5-2.0%.

yoru fine dude but + block on shield is more important since your gonna be blocking alot more than 180 health worth of dmg in any given fight

You don't look bad for going in. I'd personally take either a flask of titans or fortification with me. With the smaller HP pool, it'll help your healers that first time in, when they don't quite know what to expect. I'd also recommend two items. One, the Devilshark Cape for your back. Amazing item. There's also a very easily quested tanking axe you can get, Gromtor's Charge. I mean, it's no Sun Eater, but it's obtained a lot easier, and it's a very nice tanking weapon. I think you guys will be fine though, if your team is good.

I have 274 block atm. having 400 with a few choice different items.

Not 180.

I will definitely check that weapon out. Don't have the time for the cloak... yet.
