I'm looking for a build that will be able to survive when in PVE, but also to do a good amount of damage. I want to use 1-h Dagger in main hand for Backstab, and a 1-h sword in off-hand for extra damage. What would you guys suggest is a good build, and is the dagger-sword combo good? Any input would be helpful

No, I just mean that don't use a dagger in your main hand and a sword in your off-hand.
Summarized: If you have a dagger in your MH, obviously you're going to be using a dagger build. Dagger builds are designed around mostly "burst" damage and other than Mutilate, your OH weapon isn't going to hit for shit, there's a 50% damage reduction for any OH weapon. In a dagger build, your off-hand needs to be either one of two things:
1. A fast dagger, for poison applications.
2. Nice Stats.

Haha alright, then would a "dagger build" do the things I'm looking for it to do. AKA survive with decent damage.

Sorry about the double post, but can you show me a good build to level 40? Thanks, I really appreciate it. By the way, this build isn't for me or anything, it's actually for my boss at work. He plays WoW and has his talent points really jacked up. I'm actually a Shaman, thus, I know crap about rouges' builds.
