When Using NightfallFollow

There will be a certain sound that lets you know that it procced, and there will be a buff icon flashing so you know how much time you have to cast SB before it runs out.

P.s just keep SB handy on your bar..I've never missed a cast I didn't want to.

4% per tick. So if you got Corruption and drain life going, you have a 4% chance on every tick of both of those spells. There are times I get it on every fight, but in general off the top of my head, I get a NF about every 3rd fight.

Sometimes I get a NF to go off twice on the same mob. Then I feel bad for the poor little guy, doesn't have a chance against a multiple NF proc.

I used to miss a lot of NF procs when I was in the heat of battle, so I decided to download an addon to help me with that.

I got me WarlockAlert, which makes a sound as well as flashing a little color on the border on the edges of the screen while the buff lasts, never missed a handy NF proc since.

Oh, and take heed to the advice and keep Shadowbolt key-binded somewhere easily accesible.

If you use the mod Scrolling Combat Text (a very good mod), one of the things that shows up is buffs/debuffs. Have buffs show up in a very attention-getting fashion in the middle of your screen (I use bright pink "sticky crits" myself :P ) makes it hard for you to notice.

Yes, there is a faint cloud of black snowflake/star type figures, but they are less noticable than the sound and flashing buff by your minimap, IMHO.

Indeed, Necrosis was pure awesome for the "Shadow Trance!" alert alone.

The voice, it's so.. demonic.

actually, the most fun is when backlash and nightfall proc back-to-back during pvp. it's even better if one crits. i chuckle every time it happens.

I will Tripple Check this motion, No lock should be without Necrosis.
