it really comes down to:
1 - which style you prefer to play
2 - what you will do endgame (PvP or instances)

feral druids have endgame tanking abilities, and pvp.
boomkin have endgame DPS abilities, and pvp.

i would personally go feral/resto, simply because i have already played a warlock and don't want to play another caster character.

I'm more comfortable with melee classes as a whole, but Doomkin is pretty interesting. I'd say if you're going to spec Doomkin wait until 43 so you can grab both Moonkin Form and 3/3 Dreamstate.

We cannot make that decision for you. If it's your first character, you might want to stick to Feral cause it's generally easier to grind. You could also try to gather both Feral and caster gear and give Moonkin a whirl sometime. You can always respec later.

The only thing I would advise is: Make up your mind before Outlands cause that Staff of Beasts won't look quite as tasty if you decide to respec Moonkin after getting it. And then you'll wish you'd have taken the Battle Mage's Baton. And you'll cry. And reroll. Okay, maybe not, but it's gonna be much more enjoyable if you can start building up your gear as soon as you step in Outlands. ;P
