Mod AdviceFollow

I was looking around the UI Central program and found some mods to download. I basically just downloaded every high-ranked mod that sounded useful and that supported BC and v2, and I'll likely just delete the ones I don't end up using later. Well, I was just wondering if any of you guys had any advice on these mods: which ones to keep, any new ones I should add, etc. Also, I don't know how many mods the game can handle without experiencing any signifigant problems (I don't want my computer to burst on fire when I first load the game lol). And just in case it is important, I plan on being a Feral Druid, but I don' t mind any casting mod advice (I wouldn't be suprised if I switched between specs at a higher level). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here's my UI Central list:
Atlas
Gatherer
Advanced Trade Skill Window
Clear Font
Scrolling Combat Text
Simple Combat Log
Auctioneer
Extended QuestLog
MobInfo 2
MobInfo 2 Browser
Outfitter
Sanity Inventory
Weapon Quick Swap
Druid Bar
Cooldown Timer Bars
Master Control Pannel
Flight Time
Fizzwidget Reagent Cost
Range Recolor
eCasting Bar
Set Wrangler
Chat Box
Item Sync
ArcHUD
MetaHud (I'll probably only keep one HUD)
Critline
Link Wrangler
Mail To
Spell Tips
Mobinfo Database
Reputation Percentage
Tweaks
Player Link Menu

Welp from that list the ones that I use and find wonderfully useful are:

Scrolling Combat Text
Auctioneer
Outfitter
Druid Bar
Mail To

I'd also add Metamaps and Eavesdrop (I think that is what it is called)

In addition to the mods you should have a healthy stack of Macros so that your buttons do different things based on friend/foe.

That's a lot of mods. I think your physical system resources, and memory you allocate are the determining factor as to how many are too many. But, that's a lot. Of your list, my biased opinion is:

Must Have's:
Atlas - even a general idea of where you're going in a dungeon is good
Auctioneer - some loathe, I love it for fair pricing.
MobInfo 2 - (didn't realize there was a version 2, nifty)
Outfitter - I personally could not solo as a druid w/o Outfitter

Really cool's:
Scrolling Combat text
ClearFont - though this is wigged out on my friend's new Mac

I had Gatherer, but thought it was no longer usable post BC? I have no experience with any others on your list.

Things not on there:
Titan Panel/Cosmos/MazzleUI - I'm a Titan player, but I was surprised I didn't see one of these. I only heard bout MazzleUI and decided it wasn't for me. As I understand, it is a single install encompassing most other popular mods.

Decursive - the ability to see who has what is very valuable. you can set up the one click interface, but I find it takes up too much screen real-estate for me

If you get into any larger group events, > 5 people, you'll want to get CT_Raid Assist and probably KTM Threat Meter. Both of these are limited use in the early levels, but quite important 58+.

Gatherer is in gamma; it will mark gathers on your maps, but you can't query the database for lists of where you've gathered what.

I also swear by Atlas, Auctioneer, Wardrobe, and Titan Panel; ClearFont is great too, the original fonts are so bad >.<

In place of Decursive, I use xperl Unit Frames; it allows me to show party hp in different ways, as well as filter buffs/debuffs if I need down to only what I can actually cure. Saves me from having to watch the interface on every player constantly, since it highlights the member frame in a particular color depending on what needs casting (green for poison, purple for curse, for example). It also warns me when an HoT is about to run out; the player frame starts blinking a light blue color.

At the end of the day, all you can really do is try out different mods and see what you like; I've not personally enjoyed SCT because it seems to spam the hell out of my screen with every little dot tick and other stuff, when all I really want to know is sticky crits and events (such as Overpower), and the built-in FCT gives me that...but most people swear by SCT, so it just takes finding what fits your style.
