lvl 60 holy new 2 TBC helpFollow

I stopped playing a month or so before TBC came out so I never had a chance to stockpile DPS gear. I'm going to start playing again in a week or so when I buy a new computer. All of my gear is + healing / + spirit / mp5. My healing gear is pretty good, mostly stuff from ZG, a few of the best 5 man gear pieces, a few epic tailored items and a piece of tier 1. I literally have like 20 +damage gear, including stuff in my bank. Soooo how do you suggest lvling up? I peeped out the stuff you can tailor, I don't really like the netherweave stuff because it lacks spirit. Stamina has minimal benefit for priest grinding. I also have a lvl 60 warlock, so I can lvl him up to maybe grind for some cash to buy stuff for her. Anyway, anyone have any tips on good dps gear that is tailorable or BoE? Maybe even a revered rep reward? I guess it might make sense to grind out a few lvls on my lock while LFGing for my priest and pick up a few pieces in scholo/strat etc.

-after a little more research I turned up tier .5 (virtuous, I think I upgraded up to the gloves.... not sure if I saved them) and actually Dreamweave isn't even too bad.

Also a high dps wand is cruuucial for my style of grinding... anyone know a quickly attainable one in the outlands? Right now I've got the wand of biting cold (64.0 dps). I'm horde and undead if that matters for anything.

Thanks in advance -

I really don't think you will have to worry about this much. Just doing the quests in hellfire area from 60-62 will give you many new pieces with better stats and +dmg/healing on them. Really I think you should just start running the instances there (ramparts and blood furnace) over and over to get gear and start building rep. Do the quests around there to get some key pieces, but don't do everything available ... save them for later when you want to build rep and the mobs are no longer contributing.

Also, there is a ton of new gear in the AH for level 58-62 that has +dmg/healing on it. Outland grinding gives you a lot more gold than pre-expansion areas and you will quickly be able to afford the AH supplimental shopping.

Good luck

I might suggest using holy to get new gear as there are several quests as SOON as you hit outlands that gives you some +spell damage gear. As for wands, I've got what YOU need!

Drops in slave pens, you'll need to be atleast 62 to use it though

Damn that wand is sex. Thanks for the tips I guess I'll go a lvl or two on holy. I didn't realize there were instances past scholo/strat you could hit right away. That'll be fun. I just thottbot'd all my gear and with enchants I *think* I have +615 healing. Not that you care. lol. man i wanna play WoW, ha ha.

You get new damage gear quickly. I was in some decent pre-raid damage gear and I'd replaced it ALL by level 62, with big boosts just in the first few hours. Healing gear was harder to replace because Blizz was stupid and only put in a little bit of decent healing gear pre-70.
Nonetheless, you should be fine switching over to either Shadow or SoL/PI build for leveling, as you'll get decent gear right away. I just hope you don't rely on your Holy talents for healing ;)

All TBC wands are heavy hitters. One of your first quest rewards is 74dps.
